This item is great fun! I’m not a skilled swimmer and since I was using this scooter in deeper water, I wore a PFD. I also wore a full facemask with snorkel. My face stayed dry, and I could look under the water. The scooter is easy to operate.
The device seemed to pull to the left. I’m not sure why, perhaps that side is heaver. After a short while, I felt a strain in my shoulders. I also had discomfort in my back, as my upper body and feet were higher than my lower back.

When I saw this and watched the videos, I instantly knew I had to have it. And I was not disappointed at ALL!!
We have been using this non-stop now since the pool opened up, and it is as fun as you think it is– and then some. Cruising in the water is wicked easy, and controlling it is as easy as can be. My daughter loves using it to dive to the bottom of the deep end!
The charge lasts a decent amount of time, even when hauling me around (I am 225 pounds.) Given my weight, I was actually surprised at just how quickly it still moves me through the water, and I was zipping around the pool as soon as I got in.
The time it takes to charge is reasonable, and the magnetic charger means it could not be any easier to charge it once you are done.
It is not very buoyant however, although it does still float. Just make sure you are not using this as a lifesaving device and you will be fine.
Seriously, this little thing takes going to the pool a billion times more fun!!

I have 5 of this brand water scooter 3 orange and now 2 yellow and I take them to St Thomas USVI they are perfect but they only last 45 mins to an hour depending on usage anyway this model (Yellow) has 142 WH versus the old orange one at 97 WH so thats +46% more juice I cant wait to try them next trip hopefully they will give me a lot more fun time these are a game changer on the Reef no flippers needed just point in the direction and go you get much more time on the bottom as you do not have to expend any energy kicking and swimming to get to the bottom….

 We played with this scooter on the lake and had a blast! The scooter is versatile as I used it while hanging off my paddle board when it was windy and it pulled us along swiftly. The size and operation is fun and the amount of thrust was perfect to pull my 12yo underwater for long distances. The quality is outstanding and the performance was really good providing over an hour of continuous. This is great for any age and weighs little enough for younger kids. The application works well over Bluetooth and allows for a couple of cool features that are necessary for one handed or hands free operation. The included wrist strap can depress the button in the one handed setting while you can use the phone application to turn the propellers on an off. This allows me to strap the scooter to my paddle board and operate the device on and off with my phone. It’s pretty fast for paddle board use, pretty much topping out the hull speed of my paddle board. I think that the 3 star reviews or less are unfair. The current price of $399 is very fair given the high quality of this scooter. My only complaint is that the scooter should come with a carry bag to protect it for transportation so I had to find my own bag.

I got this Geneinno Electric Water Scooter after my 4-Year old Yamaha SeaDoo Scooter (4 years with me, but i bought it second hand) refused to hold charge and work for longer than 15-20 mins sessions and started to condensate water inside, it was time for it to go and for something more modern to take its place.
This was a good deal based on the technology advertised and reasonably good reviews i pulled the trigger on it and i’ve had it for a couple of weeks and used it in two occasions, one in a big pool and one at a Lake last weekend in Austin, TX.
The Lake experience was more valuable than the pool one when it comes to what this scooter can do in larger bodies of water and it’s what i used my old SeeDoo scooter for.
The build quality seems fine, nothing outstanding but less rugged than the SeaDoo scooter, it looks well built, however i don’t know if it feels that the “wings” would take a direct drop very well.
The top speed was, slightly disappointing. I mean it’s a small and light device so it was expected, but going a couple of feet deep, added to the buoyancy of the scooter, you’d find that you aren’t moving much and have to kick your fins/flippers to get it going, which kind of defeats the purpose of a scooter which is saving as much oxygen from body exertion.
I liked the magnetic charging option which was great compared to having to pull the battery pack and putting it in a proprietary charger for the SeaDoo, but also uses a charging block, in the days of USB-C PD i would have very much preferred that, and that leads me to Battery Life:
Advertised Battery Life is 60 Mins, i’d say that with intermittent use i got something closer to 40 mins, and that was with mixing low and high speeds, so it’s not like i was in full throttle.
App Integration is decent, but for some things like a Water Scooter i don’t really know how much you’ll be reaching for your phone to change a setting.
The GoPro mount addition is a super nice feature.
Having said that, both my experiences have proven something, this will not power through even slow ocean currents, sure it’ll move you, but it’ll be slower than the pool/lake experiences.
It looks great, but honestly at $400+Tax it felt underpowered, it’s good for use at a lake or at the pool or for light use, i wouldn’t recommend this to go scuba diving at open sea, it’s not bad, but probably at $249 this would have felt more appropriately priced for what it is, and don’t get me wrong, i know it is costly to Research, Design and Produce something like this, but it just feels too much money for what it is.
