This kit arrived in time and in good condition. I am just starting yoga and wanted to try it at home first before paying out for classes. The mat is excellent – good size, colour – teal, as on the box cover – and rolls up small. I have it on a tiled floor and its comfortable. The CD is great – a 15 min introduction explains why you use the block and the strap, how to place your body on the mat, and being older and not very flexible yet it is great to use the block for sitting poses in particular.
The 15 min morning exercise is a great beginning routine for me, easy to do every day and not too hard on my joints as I get them back into shape – eventually, I hope! There is also a 30min routine but its a bit much yet, but one I will use once I find the beginning one a bit easier.
I am very pleased with my purchase.

I had never done any yoga before I bought this kit, so I can’t compare it to other yoga materials out there. Overall, I thought it was a great deal for someone looking to try out yoga at home.
I’ve been using the mat almost daily for the past month now and it seems to be holding up well. I appreciate the markings that you can use to help line up your feet and hands- they are more useful than I expected them to be. The strap is made of really thick material and I think I will appreciate having it around as I learn more ways to incorporate it in my workout. Same with the block.
The DVD also has a great ‘Daily Yoga’ workout for beginners. I had hoped that “for beginners” meant that there would be some introductions to the poses and how to avoid common mistakes, but even without that, I found it was still fairly easy to catch on. The ‘Morning Stretch’ is more of a warm-up than a workout, but still useful.

Tappettino di ottimo materiale con trama antiscivolo, ha una larghezza sufficiente e una buona lunghezza adeguata fare qualsiasi posizione senza parti del corpo che escano fuori dallo stesso. I disegni geometrici stampata aiutano a mantenere l’allineamento di piedi e mani. Cintura e mattoncino di ottima qualità. Anche il colore del set è bello e allegro. Non ho ancora avuto modo di dare un’occhiata al dvd annesso. Credo che il set complessivamente abbia un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo, se ci fosse anche il portatappetino, magari in tinta, sarebbe anche meglio (e sarei disposta a pagare il set di più), visto che a comprarlo separatamente si rischia di sbagliare la misura. Tempi di consegna rispettati, ottimo imballaggio.

This is a really wonderful starter kit. The block and strap are fine quality. The mat is like all other mats and is not as sticky as you wish it would be at first but this will go away with time… it will get better. The lighter areas are actually more slip resistant than the rest of the mat.
Also, the video is good for a beginner. There are only two programs on the video but they are worth the few dollars spent on the whole kit. I’d recommend this to anyone wanted a yoga mat.

I tossed the DVD since I did not find it the instruction on it to be helpful. It’s way too fast for a beginner and does not focus on proper alignment and correctly doing the postures. Other than that, it’s a great kit for beginners (like me)! The mat is good quality, travel friendly and not slippery. It has lines printed on it for alignment, I think, but one of the four prints have crooked lines so it defeats the purpose LOL. The others are fine though. Great, vibrant colour. The block and strap are on the smaller/shorter side but useful nonetheless. As a beginner, this definitely helps jumpstart my practice. I am very happy with this purchase.

Shipping was prompt ( and free in my case). This CD is a great intro / re-intro to Yoga with easy, non-threatening exercises that anybody can do; yet not loo “lame” that you can’t improve over time. I like the a.m. and p.m. specific workouts and the fact that they are only 20 min. in length- one can always spend 20 minutes on our well-being. Rodney Yee is very knowledgeable about Yoga and reminds us that it’s not perfect execution of movements, but the journey and what it does for our bodies. He explains the tools very well- I didn’t know about the brick and strap at all before I purchased the kit.Their significance make sense and help with the poses and their benefits to the body.The sound and scenery are beautiful and it’s fun to do. I found the price very fair and I am glad I purchased the kit and would recommend it.
