I bought this to try out a new flavor of protein and it tasted just like the chips ahoy cookies. It has a good amount of protein and it is easy to use and mix into my protein shake. It is a big size box and can take up a lot of space in the cabinet. If pricing isn’t a problem for you then I would recommend getting this protein powder.

My husband and I buy our protein in bulk and the 1 flavor we both love is Chips Ahoy. It’s a shame that there aren’t more flavors in the 5lb tub offering. I take protein ~2x per day and accounting for his usage, a 27 serving tub just isn’t enough. I definitely vouch for this flavor and volume option. Drink as a shake or just mix in a small volume of water for a pudding-like snack when you’re low on calories but still need to hit your macro goals. I would love for Ghost to do a whey/casein blend (casein mixes up thicker and digests slower) and would appreciate small sample packs of the other flavors (I won’t commit to a tub if I’ve never tasted it) especially at the prices they typically go for that leaves me sticking only to what’s tried and true. That’s why I say: buy in bulk and if it’s on sale, load up. You won’t regret ordering this, the protein not only tastes good and the macros are pretty good (not the best but I understand the sacrifice for flavor)—it mixes smoothly and the scoop isn’t buried in your protein and it is also true to scale (I do measure how accurate the scoop is on my food scale). I just wish there was a better way of storing these huge containers (lol they take up so much shelf and counter space).

This protein powder has chunks… And I’m kind of into it.

I ordered a few cheap single-serving samples from the Ghost website, and this flavor really stood out to me, for a number of reasons. The first reason is the aforementioned chunks. There are actual cookie bits in this protein powder, as well as chocolate chips, so that it tastes like you’re drinking the milk leftover after dunking a bunch of cookies. And frankly, it’s delicious.

I have mixed this powder with both milk and water, and both are good. The milk is better, but water is free and convenient and still pretty good. I have noticed that the powder itself doesn’t mix as well as other powders I’ve tried, but since it’s already got chunks, I don’t mind an extra clump or two.

Now when I work out and make a shake, it feels like a reward instead of something I have to choke down, and that’s awesome.

If you’re weary about this chunky whey, I strongly recommend you go the Ghost website and order some of their sample packs. They’re only a few bucks plus shipping and you can try most of their popular flavors, including Chips Ahoy, Oreo, some vegan ones like Cinnabon, and some cereal milk flavors. They don’t all have chunks/bits, but the cookie flavors do.

Cinnabon delight. For many years I’ve been an Optimum nutrition guy. I’m not even sure about the quality of this protein vs others but I can honestly say Cinnabon is a delicious treat. Two scoops. Whole milk. Blends very well. For myself with a typically sensitive stomach is digest well no issues . I will be trying the Oreo next

Love the flavor of this chips ahoy shake. My only complaint is that the cookie crumbs in the mix make the clean up process more tedious than other brands or even other Ghost flavors.

Finally, a protein powder that doesn’t taste like chalk! Tastes like chips a’hoy cookies, and not very chunky! Be sure to pour in milk first then add the powder, then top off with milk (or else it doesn’t blend very well).

There is also something about a 5lb tub of protein powder that lets you intimidate your friends and family, even though you’re basically making a delightful milkshake.
There is not a lot to say about it other than it tastes great. All of the GHOST’s whey protein flavors that I have tried are fantastic (except Oreo mint. Feel free to skip that one), but Cinnabon is by far my favorite.
I remember when protein shakes tasted like an unholy combination of chocolate cake batter and mud, so it’s awe-inspiring to see how far flavors have come.
