john mendiola –
I didn’t have high expectations for these strings as I’ve never tried them, but a friend recommended them and I’m impressed.
I have and adi/hog dreadnought that is fickle with strings as it can sound too bright for me with some brands. With these it’s a very clear tone with some warmth and great sustain and volume. The highs sound very nice but not too bright, the mids stand out, and the lows are full of bass.
I don’t know how long these might last, but they feel great on the fingers, no roughness, but not as slick as Elixers either. But for hammer-ons and slides it’s smooth sailing and my fingers don’t slip around.
I like them and will definitely give them another go.

Of course strings are always subjective in sound due to the guitar and person’s hearing, however, these strings seem to be great and very flexible. They sound excellent on my hummingbird. I change between brands at string changes and these particular ones are on my rotation list. These are balanced and not too bright. The mids are there, highs and lows. You can’t go wrong with these. I change strings about once a month.

Learning chords and scales with these was fine.

One of the pack was unsealed. At the price I paid I expected better
TRACKER –
This was the first set of GHS strings I have ever tried and bought them upon a recommendation from JP Cormeir, the great flat pick artist from Canada. My oo18 Martin always sounded thin with lights so these I bought in Medium. Wow ! It made the oo18 come alive in a way I never expected and the extra standard tuning tension from medium strings has not been a problem what so ever. Never will my guitar be strung in anything but the GHS Medium phosphor strings. Great value…the pros know and JP never fails to find the best. I highly recommend them and plan to restring my collection in this string set. Amendment 1 ….the first and second strings have enormous stretch….suggest tuning to standard pitch…waiting a day and retuning again for the best concert pitch. Or just stretching as you go will work also but easy does it ..not too much so as to damage your bridge. Amazing sound.

Muy buenas cuerdas, suenan brillantes y hacen que suene mucho más fuerte mi Martin
Amazon Customer –
Tried daddario xs and xt on my martin D10 these had a fuller and richer, more balanced sound compared to them.

I have been a fan of GHS phosphor bronze strings for years. In my opinion they render as fine a sound as you van get from an acoustic guitar as any string on the market. Their longevity is not as great, of course , as a poly coated string but the clarity is greater when they are new. Cleaning them after use. particularly a performance where the players hand might be sweaty would likely give the greatest life.

Very easy to use, sounds good!

I’ve been using Martin for years. But after Doyles recommendation I said why not try them. First. The packaging is worth the extra 50 cents. Second the sound is better than the Martin strings and that is priceless. Thanks Doyle you’re awesome.

… e non classica come scritto sull’annuncio.
Devo ancora provarle.
