This was a very inexpensive guitar and amplifier combo. But you get what you pay for. The tuning would be lost in about 10 mins. The amplifier quality is flimsy at best. I would recommend visiting a guitar store nearby and pick up one that sounds the best, stays tuned for long and fits your budget.

I have received my guitar just today! To be honest I am really impressed of how good quality everything is. I love the color of guitar. It is light weight, definitely not the best quality but super reasonable for the price. There is everything I need in the box. The only thing I will have to order extra is a stand. The sound is just as good. The amplifier is portable and make the sound a bit nicer and louder. Overall I am so happy with my purchase. I recommend this set for beginners.

Un vero e proprio gioiello ad un prezzo da chitarra gioco per bambini!
Solo gli accessori, se acquistati separatamente, costerebbero ben oltre 40 euro!
Manico perfetto; ben settata; Effetti riverbero e delay a dir poco incredibili.

This guitar actually surprised me a bit. I shouldn’t have based on the price, but I was expecting it to be a bit lower quality. It is a mass produced guitar. Given that, it tunes properly, stays tuned, intonation isn’t bad, no buzz, and doesn’t sound bad. The frets definitely need work. They are a bit sharp where they were cut along the edge of the fretboard. The rest of the set was mediocre. If you are buying this for the amp, don’t. The gig bag is okay. It comes with some other accessories which are fine. The tuner is accurate, but glitches out occasionally. It also comes with an extra set of strings and a pick guard and a few picks. If I had it to do again, I would have bought a higher quality guitar in the same price range without the amplifier.

This is a very nice beginner guitar bundle. For the price, I am impressed with the physical quality of the guitar and it sounds great. For shipment this was packaged well and it appears that it was packed and boxed up with care, which says a lot about the way Donner approaches things. The guitar case is a bit flimsy, but it will protect the guitar a bit for traveling to lessons or a friend’s house. Just don’t bang it around in this case. It also has straps so you can carry it on your back. The front pouch will hold the accessories and your music easily. This is a good value for sure. This kit is not the finest that you will ever see, but it is not supposed to be. For a beginner it will be hard to beat at this price point and it looks and sounds like it costs a bit more.
The kit comes with an electronic tuner, which is great. Sadly the one I got is defective and is difficult to read. I did contact customer support and sent them pictures twice, but after their initial reply I have heard nothing from them. It is unfortunate that a company that delivers a product that they should be proud of drops the ball over a cheap accessory. I debated dropping one star– not so much for the faulty tuner, but more for the weak customer service. I’ll have to buy a different tuner, but there is a nagging concern about what I should expect should a more serious issue develops where I need an actual solution. Still, I kept it at 5 stars because the main item, the guitar, is nice and sounds delightful even if the tuning is off a bit. I dare say that if Donner can continue to produce products that balance quality and price, and can develop a customer service model to match, they will earn a reputation that is second to none.
I may update this review if needed as time goes on and this guitar gets some mileage.

Daughter loved it. Great for a starter

Donner provides a very good beginner guitar with included accessories. It has a 10 W amp and you can play it as an acoustic or with electric speaker. Quality was better than expected and after tuning up played quite well. Although it’s a slimline, it sounds full bodied. I liked the bright green color and finish, but beware that the guitar I received was much darker than the picture represents. It’s ok because I like the black guitar look anyways. If you’re not a logo name snob, then this guitar for the money can’t be beat IMHO.

Amazing deal for the price but it isn’t without flaws. Fret ends were fairly sharp and the graun in the neck is so course and porous that it wouldn’t be a ad idea to refinish the neck with some grain filler. I’ve never seen a guitar neck with such deep and large wood pores and I have around 30 guitars.
Didn’t expect the guitar to be amazing but it really is quite good for what it is and it sounds nice, even without effects.
The room reverb is hardly noticeable and you have limited control of the delay time but the hall reverb and whatever delay you can get is pretty cool. The volume boost is noticeable. Maybe the effects are more pronounced when it’s plugged into an amp but I haven’t tried that yet.
It came fairly well wet up and I would only need to sand down the bridge saddle a little bit to optimize the action, but it really wasn’t bad at around 2.5mm at the 12th on the E strings.
In my conclusion it’s a cool little guitar thats worth the price. It’s kind of a one trick pony when it comes to the effects but it’s a cool trick.

I would really rather not give this instrument a poor review, because it’s a really cool little guitar, but there are some issues.
When it arrived it buzzed pretty bad. No big deal, I just adjusted the rod, problem solved. The frets were really rough on the ends where they had been cut. So much so, that I began to get a callus on my pointer finger from rubbing it against them as I moved my hand up and down the neck. They clearly didn’t file the edges down at all. So I filled them, no big deal, problem solved.
Then, about 2 months after I got it, I was tuning and the tuning peg for the D string suddenly stopped functioning. It spins freely and does not tighten or loosen the string. I’ve contacted Donner support and we’ll see what they do about it. Hoping they just send me a new one. This is a bit of a hassle. (Update: they give me a $60 refund. I was able to fix the problem for $15. So I’m very satisfied with the way it worked out.)
A couple of other minor things I dislike. The knob at the bottom where it plugs in unscrews very easily, then it rattles. It took me a while to realize where that weird noise was coming from. Also, when you have it plugged in, the b string is much louder than the others. It’s kind of annoying.
It’s not all bad. The guitar has a great look. I love the shape, it’s very comfortable. It’s extremely light. And the sound is good enough.
If the peg had broken sooner, I would have just sent it back. But it broke like a week after the return window ended. If I could go back to when I was shopping, I would problem choose differently. But I’m not too bummed out about it. It’s still a very cool little guitar. Just not as awesome as I was expecting.

Having played guitar and bass for almost 25 years, I’ve owned well over 100 instruments. This is a decent guitar for the price, especially considering that it included an amplifier. The guitar body is about half as deep as a normal acoustic, and therefore a bit quieter though more playable for a beginner. Some slight cosmetic issues here and there, but since I bought this guitar for my nephew who is just learning, it will likely get beat up anyway. The tuners aren’t great, the electronics aren’t terribly versatile, the fretboard is painted black, and the gig bag sounds like it’s padded with tissue paper. However, considering I bought the whole bundle for $185, there isn’t a lot to complain about. The neck is very comfy and easy to play, and swapping the strings out for a name-brand set does wonders for the tone and volume. The guitar is nowhere as good as a $200 Yamaha, but given the extras included in this bundle, it’s a worthwhile deal.
