Kendra –
I bought this for my daughter who is in high school band this year. Since it was summer, I left the package put away until closer to time for my daughter to use it. Now that her band “camp” training starts next week she was allowed to open the package to prepare her instrument. She noticed right away that the slide lock catch was missing and only a welding burn was left in its place. Although this doesn’t cause any issue to the sound of the instrument, it is annoying for my daughter because she now has to hold the slide closed all the time.
UPDATE:
I just want to let every one know that, while in the middle of my daughter’s band performance, the Rotor and Trigger just fell appart. This is one issue after another. I really wish that I would have opened this as soon as it arrived. I would have sent it back for a full refund
Now that I waited to open it, I am passed the 30 day return window and am forced to use the insurance that I purchased with the instrument. If you do purchase this item, get the insurance for sure.

I really like this horn. it has a great sound and is well constructed.

This trombone is by far one of the best deals I have gotten on Amazon! The case is classy and sturdy! The inside has well made compartments for the trombone pieces and the trombone itself is beautiful! My son is very proud to carry this to and from school. I am not to sure about the sound quality because my son has never played before so his notes sound blah, But he said everyoneโs trombone sounds like his Which I believe since this is the six grade and theyโre all just starting. In either case this is an awesome trombone and the quality is definitely there. They even have the companies name engraved on the trombone which gives it that extra oooLala look! Great piece!

This is clearly not a $3,000 horn. But you’ll also never worry if you (or your kid) take the horn where it’s at risk–such as a football game or party or whatever. Lube up the trigger and the slide and it will be fine. The trigger is mechanical and makes a “clink” (like Jupiter and other brands), so don’t expect the silence of a professional horn. This is way better than a pbone.

Very nice instrument, good for the price. But it does has some cons, there is something that keeps rattling in the tuning slide and it is not aligned correctly so the tuning slide does not move correctly. I would recommend a more expensive one since it would have more quality
Kevin Alvarez –
Great for beginners and low price. The slide is awful though.
Calvin Farmer –
This trombone is absolutely amazing no problems at all and it sounds nice, the only two issues i have is that the bell section fits loosely in the case and you can hear it shake around when the case is close, and some of the slides had some gunk on it.

First off, Iโm a trombonist and I also work in the metal fabrication industry. I was looking for a trombone for my 11 year old son and I saw in reviews that some people had good results with thisโฆ.ummm, impossible!!!
Firstly, it plays too flat with the tunning slide all the way in. That right there makes this trombone unusable. Itโs incapable to play in tune with other instruments!
The slide is loud! It is from the inner slide being out of round, itโs more oval. Basically there are high spots on the stockings (the part that touches at the bottom of the inner slide). After using for a couple minutes those high spots started to get scratched. Iโm sure it would eventually scratch through the plating of the inner slide.
So if you donโt know, a trombone slide needs to have slide cream on it and is constantly sprayed with water. The inner slide started to tarnish from the cream and water after about a week. This just tells me that the plating is sub par, chinesium!
I decided to return it within minutes. Very cheaply made. I feel bad for anyone who thinks that this trombone is a good deal or quality.
But if you are looking to decorate a mantle or wall somewhere, this is perfect for it. Just donโt take it down to play with another instrument.
