I have a long haired Turkish angora and he gets lots of knots and matted fur. I tried all the combs and he hates them and cries and growls won’t let me do it. I read the reviews and tried this kit he loves it he was purring the whole time I did it and rolled over to let me do more. Very easy to use does not make a lot of noise cones with a nice metal comb, scissors and a de shedding glove. Very good value and great easy to use product!

I was nervous my cat would hate the noise. My allergist suggested I trim my cat to see if it would cut down on the pet danger. My bubby loved it! He was not crazy about it when we got close to his butt or legs but otherwise, he loved being pampered. I suggest using the 6mm attachment. Leaves enough hair they aren’t bald but it’s still short enough to cut down on dander and keep him cool in the summer. The pictures are the before and after. The cut wasn’t perfect because towards the belt he thought we were playing, but that was operator error, not the product. This thing works like a charm.

I got this based on the reviews everyone said it was great sheets for cats. If anyone has cats they know how hard it can be to brush them let alone attempt to shave them. They aren’t very quiet and do get hot to the touch which says they don’t woth either. My long haired cat has cotton textured fur at the root of his fur so his Matt’s are big and tight to the skin I got a couple but had to put a guard in because it got warm and I didn’t wanna hurt or injure him. I put the lowest guard in and that was even harder to shave a Matt off. If o was using it for a hair cut or trim I’m sure they’d work well but for Matt’s for what I need it for they aren’t the greatest. They are pretty good quality for the money.
