Looks great in the picture, even better at night. Loved our purchase. Hope it keeps up with weather and seasons then it’ll be worth the money spent. Love that it connects to Alexa, and the app is user friendly. Love the color and theme options, that you can play it with music too.

Really cool product. We did a major backyard reno project, and these new smart lights are the biggest “hit” of the whole thing, for only <$150. They're about twice the price of standard white LED string lights for the same length, but IMO certainly worth the extra. In addition to white, these can also do any color – You can pick any spot on a color wheel on the app to set all lights to that color. Every light is also individually customizable. It comes with ~50 preset themes, many of which have some degree of motion (some too much!), and you can program customized themes as well, such as red/white/blue or purple/orange for certain holidays, etc. In addition to providing ambience, these lights provide some fun entertainment themselves, as I'll find myself just sitting out back and playing with the app for kicks. Brightness is adjustable too, and they're bright enough that we have to dumb it down below 100% for most color themes.
One thing to note: You can’t just string together as many of these as you want like typical light strands that only have a power requirement, because smart lights also have a controller requirement that talks to each light. This set can do 1, 2, or 3 strands of 50 ft for up to 150 ft.
I did have the same problem one other reviewer mentioned, where after a week they started randomly flashing real bad. Thought it was buggy and was about to return. But I noticed that the first strand was fine, the flashies were occurring every bulb after the first-to-second strand connection, and it had also rained recently. So I thought maybe moisture got in that connection. Unconnected, let it dry for a couple days, reconnected, ensured it was super tight, and sealed the connection with electrical tape to prevent moisture from getting in. Fixed it and have been running fine for 2 weeks since. Now all my connections have the same treatment. Hopefully that keeps the issue away, as it really is a neat product.

Govee products continue to impress. These patio lights produce generous output in a good array of brilliant color and white light. The fact that they recognize that patio lights are generally used in longer lengths makes them even better. Control with the Govee app is simple and straightforward.

Wowza! I LOVE them. And the endless possibilities! The app is a little overwhelming but after some playing a round I seem to have a good grasp on it now. Will be buying more I’m sure. Well worth the money. Just wish there was a setting to make all the made up scenes to only ever fade slowly to different colors as opposed to blinking. I’m not allowed to use those per my S/O request. Haha

The Govee String Lights 2 are a great addition for outdoor decorations. These lights are bright, colorful, and can be controlled via a smartphone app, which makes it easy to change colors and patterns. They are also weather-resistant, Installation was simple, and the lights are durable. Overall, they add a festive and customizable touch to my space.

We bought the pack with 144 feet of lights and it was far more than we anticipated. The photo shows the area it covered. It lights our entire outdoor hangout space and it’s BRIGHT. These are awesome, and the app is very versatile, down to being able to change the color of each individual bulb and save themes I’ve created. Also, it rained two days straight after we put these up and every bulb is still in great shape and working like new. Definitely worth the price. I’ll be buying this brand again if I need more smart lighting.

So when I saw these for sale I was hoping less would go wrong with them since they aren’t in the ground like the Govee spotlights that I have which also malfunctioned. Well, I was wrong.
I attached these string lights to our brand new deck railing with the providing zip ties and at first they worked great, many color choices and pattern, but as little as two weeks in, absolutely no power. Switched sockets, extension cords, check all connections and nothing. Returned the item. Don’t waste your time. Look elsewhere. Very annoying.

The lights themselves are very nice. Easy to sync with app and lots of different lighting features. I liked how bright these ones were.
None of the timer or scheduling features work, I thought I may be because they don’t stay connected to the Bluetooth when the app is closed?
Ultimately ended up returning for a cheaper set because I couldn’t get the tinier features working.
