I needed a feeder that the grackles couldn’t use and this one seemed to have good reviews. It has been hanging for 10 days and the finches land, peck, and move on to my other standard feeder or my neighbors. I ended up enlarging the peck holes and now the goldfinches are using it. Also, the cap isn’t fitted on so when I turn it upside down to loosen the feed I have to hold the top on or everything will fall out. Not the best designed tube feeder but at least the grackles can’t use it.

The bird feeder is a great deal for the price. It works well, easy to fill, birds are feeding, loos like a nice bird feeder. There is no protection from squirrels except small openings make it harder for squirrels. They still could shake the feeder and knock seeds to the ground. But squirt have been able to do that with every feeder I’ve ever had. I am happy, so far, I recommend this as a simple feeder

De plus le lavage est facile car les perchoirs ne traversent pas de bord en bord la mangeoire donc on peut atteindre le fond de la mangeoire sans avoir à contourner tous les petits poteaux

The birds love it but I have my reservations. For 1, that little peg prevents birds from feeding face on like a small loop would. I rotate it with another feeder with the loop and they are able to eat all the seed from both in just a few days. Even the larger birds land on the peg and can eat, although not as easily. The larger birds should stick to the suet cakes! Haha I’m very happy with my purchase. OBTW, the feeder is well constructed. It will last throughout the summer.
