I didn’t want an air fryer but am tired of my kids telling me I needed to try this new-fangled cooker that I have lived without for 65 years. So, I ordered this GreenPan Clearview Extra Large Air Fryer, very smugly. I opened the box and unloaded the Air Fryer onto my kitchen countertop and stared at it for a week before attempting to use it. We were at a standoff. Unless I put this object to use, I could never tell my kids about all the ridiculous options that didn’t work, or the burned food and other grievances I was sure to find.
Wrong, wrong, wrong! I cut my nose off the spite my face not purchasing this Air Fryer months ago. The food I have cooked has been delicious. Crispy, perfect bacon in less than 10 minutes. Juicy hamburgers in no time. Hot dogs that are just the right temperature throughout. All I really have to do is gently push the power button and the entire LED Screen Lights Up with pre-set times for what is being cooked. The clear sides allow me to see how my food is cooking and stop the cooking early, turn the food over or add more time.
Well, since I liked the performance of the air fryer all I had left to complain about was cleaning it. As I cooked the bacon, I thought the grease and tiny bacon pieces stuck on the grill would take forever to clean. Wrong, wrong, wrong!! Again! I wiped the grill off with a paper towel and after pouring the grease out did the same with the drawer.
I am very happy with this air fryer and will be using it often. The quality is excellent and performance even better.
So, this time the kids won, and I had to admit that I liked this new-fangled gadget.
Next on the list: Vacuum robots!! No way!

Wow, air fryers have come a LONG way! The GreenPan Clearview Extra Large 7QT Air Fryer is clearly leaps and bounds better than any other air fryer I have had. And yes, I have had a few. I jumped on the air fryer craze when it began. Things have changed so much since then, and this air fryer seems to have incorporated all the elements that were missing in the previous designs.
The air fryer is large, so if you live in a very small space this may not be the best choice for you. Because it is a larger fryer, you can fry more food at once (less or no batching). Food also cooks better and more evenly due to the extra spacing.
Once plugged in, the control panel lights up on the top of the fryer for cooking selections. The fryer pan easily removes from the front for loading and unloading. It is a wide fryer pan, so grabbing food once cooked is easy to do. Cleaning the fryer pan is a breeze: you simply remove the plate at the bottom of the fry pan, and clean the pan and plate in the sink. Food pieces come off easily with little effort. I guess you can put it in the dishwasher, but its so easy to clean this seems unnecessary.
What i love the most, and what is different from other fryers I have had, is that there is a light you can put on to see the frying progress. This is especially helpful when you are guessing about cooking times (like I do). As far as cooking, there are a lot of preset buttons to make it easier to figure out cooking times.
There is nothing that I do not like about this fryer. Like I said, it feels like these appliances have come a long way since the originals. Using them makes life so much easier, healthier, tastier, and the house less smelly from grease! Highly recommend!!

This air-fryer by Green Pan is the ultimate kitchen staple! I’ve been wanting to get a drawer air fryer but have been shopping around for a few months now. I have an old one that is like a “toaster oven” size, but I’ve noticed that the air fryer with drawers can hold a lot more, and they good more evenly.
I was surprised to have come across this one from Green Pan. They’re known for their non-toxic ceramic cookware that I’ve using for a at least 7 years, or when my son was born. I became weary of forever toxins found in many big brand air fryers.
The one by Green Pan has so many awesome features:
1. The design
I love the design of this air fryer. I was hesitate to purchase the other popular brand ones because of what an eyesore it would be in my kitchen. This one by GreenPan has a sleek and modern design, starting with the horizontal pattern around the bottom half. The top half is a transparent cover that goes all around. The digital touch screen on the top makes the unit look more discrete.
2. PFAS-free!
Many of the top-selling brands on Amazon have toxic linings in the non-stick drawer and tray. So I was really pleased to see this one by GreenPan is free of those PFAS! I feel safe using this for my family — particularly my 7 year old kid.
3. Lighted drawer and see-through top window
I love the light on this device!!! You can really see how brown your food is getting. Instead of opening and closing the drawer constantly, you can get a peak inside and save yourself the trouble of constantly checking. The see through window is all around the top portion of the air-fryer, which is more aesthetically pleasing than those tacky ones with windows right in front. This looks better designed and more discrete if you’re having this out on your kitchen counter.
4. Large capacity
I’m really impressed with the capacity of this air fryer. It doesn’t look like it, but it’s 7 quarts! The surface area of the tray is really good, I can place several pieces of food inside. I want to take advantage of the height of the drawer by roasting a chicken in the near future. I’m curious to see how that would work.
There are tons of other things I like too, like the digital presets, ease of cleaning the drawer and tray, and the evenness in the way it cooks. The price point is unreal! It’s lower than most other air-fryers out there, and I would say this on is on par with some of the best-seller brands on Amazon! I would snatch this one up before the holidays (and before the prices go up)!
Highly recommend this toxic-free air fryer for safe cooking for your family and kids. I’m a believer now in drawer air fryers because of this GreenPan one!
