I Installed them on my Harley Benton Tele . they installed Easy . came on Time and seem very Good Quality . I would probably buy again if needed

These dropped right into the neck for my Jaguar. I was waiting on a set of Gotoh/Fender Vintage locking tuners that had a delivery date that kept getting pushed back, and I just wanted something with lockers to tide me over and get everything back together. I wasn’t expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised.
The bushings went in without too much drama, I gently used a small c-clamp to press them in evenly. The tuners all lock and turn nicely, they seem to stay in tune, and they look great. Installing the units to the neck was a cinch as everything lined up perfectly, and the screws all went in nicely. I’m not sure the Gotoh tuners would be that much of an upgrade, at more than twice the price. I’m not in any hurry to replace these, that’s for sure.
It’s nice having the lock on a knob too, it makes string switches a breeze, and no more fussing with multiple string wraps around the peg. Stick the string in fairly taunt, clamp it, and then turn it until its in tune. Makes me wonder why I’ve not gone to this style years ago.

The Guyker Vintage Guitar Lock String Tuners were a nice addition to a recent Telecaster style guitar I built. I’ve been using them for about a month and they are working just fine. The gears are snug with no backlash, and they hold tuning very well for me. These tuners are a good fit for 9mm mounting holes. The gold finish on my set was rich looking and even. Very pleased with these!

Great tuners at a low cost. Every bit as good as the Gotoh Magnums that I have on one of my other guitars, which I believe these are based on. Just wish they came in lefty/reverse and staggered height options.

I bought 2 sets of these. Out of the two sets I got one complete working set. I had to mix and match to make it work. Even then, it’s not perfect – I had to go back and swap tuners again after finding that one of them skips gears while tuning (you’ll hear it click and it’ll go loose, the internal gear ‘jumps’, skipping over gear teeth.)
List of issues you can experience:
Some may skip gears. If it goes loose and clicks you’ll know.
Some may be installed unevenly in the housing, making it so that the gear is tight and does not operate smoothly. These are unpleasant.
Some may have more slack than others even if they do not skip gears.
If buying the cream plastic set, some of the plastic pegs may be cracked.
The replacement hardware is no good. Use the original screws and bushings already installed on your guitar.
Overall these are fantastic for the money if you get a good set. They actually hold tuning way better than the stock Squier tuners, no doubt about that. But the fact that they have so many other issues is annoying. I had to settle with 4 of my tuners being great, one having really tight tuning (had to replace the one that skipped gears), and one that has a lot of tuning slack.
They work. They’re still better than the Squier stuff I was replacing on my Paranormal Tele. But I feel like just a little QC could make these perfect, and it’s disappointing you need to combine 2 sets in order to get 1 passable set. At that price you might as well buy official tuners from Fender, Gotoh, etc.

I’ve been building guitars for 15 years, and have used every tuning machine brand and model under the sun. These tuners, specifically the Pro version, are among the best I’ve ever used. The gears feel like a $400 set of Waverly machines. They are astonishingly smooth and have less backlash than 90% of name brand machines. For the price, they are BY FAR the best value for the money. I will be using these before Grover, Wilkinson, Gotoh, Kluson etc. They perform as well as Hipshot tuners for almost 1/4 of the price.
My son and I built a guitar for him, and I bought these because I was wanting to save some money. I just figured these would get me by until I could save up for some nice Kluson machines, but these tuners feel even better than the Kluson’s and will be a permanent fixture in my shop from now on. I’ve already recommended and installed them for several clients since then, and they all love them.
The finish is very nice, as well. No obvious plating defects or burrs. Very clean and smooth finish.
The locking mechanism is well machined. The tolerances aren’t absolutely perfect, but they’re good enough to work as if they are perfect. Other budget brands have WAY too much slop and do not effectively lock the strings. I’m 100% confident in these locking mechanisms ability to hold the string in place. We’ve had no issues with slipping, and we’ve played the guitar hard and well for about a month now.
Finally, the dimensions are perfect. No odd sizes, holes in the wrong spot, stamping/machining inconsistencies, etc. The dimensions and layout are exactly what you’d expect and match their spec sheet.
I really cannot recommend these enough. I applaud the team who were behind these. They did an excellent job and clearly cared about the end result, which really shows. It’s not often a budget brand releases something of this level of quality, so I have a ton of respect when they do. It’s an incredible value for the price, and I could not be happier with my purchase. Time will tell how durable these are, and I will update my review if any issues do arise, but I expect that I won’t need to do that.

Iβm very pleased with these tuners, they Work really well. I put them on my Squier classic vibe, Stratocaster, and they were just the trick to allow me to use the trim very little tuning problems. Great product and great price!
Kevin –
It was a breeze to install these on my Stratocaster neck, they were a great fit. They are very solid and hold tune just right as of now. I has no issue with the thickness of the tuner, nor the spacing. This was my choice as the last tuner my strat had were like these but without the lock in system.
Marshall –
Umberto Cacciatori –
Fitted to HB TE52. No drilling needed. Smoother and more consistent than original HB tuners. Definite upgrade for not a lot of money and string changes are easier with these locking tuners.
Amazon_User –
Bought these to replace a set of non-locking Fender vintage tuners on one of my guitars. These were an easy drop in replacement. For yeas I used Grover tuners, until Grover stopped making their own tuning machines and then I switched to Schaller’s. A couple of years ago, I installed a set of Gotoh locking vintage tuners on a Strat and was very impressed by the fit and finish as well as the functioning and stability of the Gotoh’s. For this guitar, I wanted something better than the original Fender tuners, but didn’t want to spend upwards of $80 for Gotoh’s or Schallers. So for the low price, I decided to try a set of these. Although these are not up to the Gotoh of Schallar standards they went on easy, work quite well and look nice. We’ll see over time how the finish holds up, but for now I say buy them without hesitation.
*** 5 month update. These tuners continue to work and look great. They have remained firm and hold tune very well. Very happy with these.
