a couple days past the return window, my cat figured out how to escape out of it and now it’s useless. he does technically meet the size for the one I bought, he’s just too smart with how he maneuvers his body to get out of it. I’ll be buying a different harness for him. or maybe downsizing would help but in that case the sizing provided is off.

Great colors. I went by weight and it’s too big. I would go down a size. My cat is 17lbs. Said xl. Too big. Good quality. Velcro is always good thing to have

I loved the color and vest felt soft. Cat belly is 14in and got size medium, per measurements. Fit my cat nicely, but when pulling, he easily slid right off. It’d be nice to have an adjustable buckle added to this. With time I doubt the velcro will hold long term. In the end, this was not escape proof for my feline, so had to return, to buy something more secure.

I originally bought this because I had to give my cat a flea bath and the last time I tried to do that I barely survived the thrashing I received from the cat. Well this thing worked wonderfully, I put him in the harness and tether a little leash to the faucet in the bath tub and its simple and easy without getting deep scratches all over my arms. I also started using it to take the cat outside once in awhile when he gets a little stir crazy in the house and the best part is the crazy looks I get from neighbors when they see me walking a cat down the street.

So in this review I will tell you why I chose this product to buy after much research and deliberation, what I like about it, and what I’d change (not much).
My cat Simon is 16.5 lbs of muscle. People see him in person and are usually a bit taken aback by his size. I’ve tried other harnesses but struggled to find ones that were big enough, stay on, AND are comfortable for him. He measures 17.5″ inches around his chest behind his legs.
This harness had a large size range and had an easy step in design. I liked that it had easy adjustable velcro closure reinforced by a buckle. I was worried about it staying closed but it has a large amount of very strong velcro. Not only that but there is still a good amount of room left to where, if he was bigger, it would still work for him.
I like that this style harness does not put pressure on his neck and fully supports his chest. It does not move or shift even if he tugs against the leash. He seems to find it very comfortable. Unlike other harnesses it only took two times of him wearing it to fully walk unbothered. I made putting it on a positive experience with treats and starting out with only a few minutes of wearing it, increasing each time. Worked like a charm.
The harness is great quality. Good stitching and seems like it will last. I love the bright colors and went with “Fruit Green” aka highlighter yellow/green. I chose this so if I for some reason lost hold of the leash, he could be easily spotted, even if we were in the woods. It really is breathable too. I can see his dark fur through the mesh and when I hold it up to a vent the air flows through easy.
I do wish the fixed buckle lock could be tightened once the velcro was fastened. It would be that extra added measure to ensure it stays in place. He has never gotten out of it though. As stated above, the velcro is strong. I also make sure to stay behind him so he doesn’t have the opportunity to pull out. Though, I doubt he would accomplish this easily. I also wish the leash included was a bit longer. I can always buy a new one though so no biggie.
Overall, I love this product. My cat Simon does too, as now he gets to go on daily walks. The quality and functionality is all there. I will be buying another one for my other cat as well.

My husband and I recently got a puppy and you know we take him outside often and my cat has gotten jealous because he also likes going outside but doesn’t get to go outside as often as him. I was hesitant on getting a harness for him because all of my previous cats always escaped them but I can confidently say that this harness stays pretty snug on him even tho he does not care for it but I want lil bro to be safe and seen when he goes out; the leash is also a decent size. All together I’m thoroughly impressed by the functionality and security of this harness 🙂

I love this harness and leash what great quality ! It fits him Perfect , I measured his bust at a 16 so I bought him a large ! In teal . Lol he’s NOT used to this at all lol , he acted paralyzed the second I put it on 🤭 but I’ll start slowly , we will wear just the harnes inside until he becomes comfortable with it , then add the leash ( the leash seems To be the last straw 😂) I know he will get used to it haha . I’m really happy great quality , great fit , love the choice of colors , and worth the money !
