I wasn’t expecting it to be as quiet as it was because of the price. The quality of it is very well built. It glided over very smoothly I didn’t have to brush out my dog’s hair prior to cutting. I would definitely recommend this if you’re looking for something affordable and easy to use.

We have a golden and this was much needed for her paws. We use it mostly to trim the fur between her paw pads to keep her cool and it helps keep her feet clean. She does not mind it at all. The noise is quiet enough she doesn’t get scared by it. It is also gentle enough that even when she has twitched, it did not ct or hurt her in any way. I have also used it to trim around her tail with one of the guards.

We got our daughter a new bishonpoo. He has white curly hair/fur and it seems to grow pretty fast. We took him to the groomer a few times and it was like $50 each visit. Now they did a good job, but that was just way too expensive. I found these, on sale, and figured what the heck.
These are super QUIET which was a primary factor in making my decision. The other reviewers who said they were quiet are exactly right…..I mean whisper quiet. My dog isn’t scared of them! Since they are rechargeable I can easily maneuver them around my dogs face, bottom, tummy, and toes. The kit includes guards which are mandatory to me to keep the length consistent and protect your pup. The shortest guard is 3mm then 6mm, 9mm, and 12mm is the longest. This is ideal for us as we like to keep his fur pretty short and the 3mm is perfect for around his face/eyes and bottom. And to my surprise the scissors are just the right length and quite sharp. There is a steel comp that was a nice addition as I didn’t remember seeing it in the details but it’s really important to have a good strong comb. A great kit with everything at a very good price, what’s not to like!
Having used this 3-4times now on my dog, It has worked flawlessly, and my $25 investment has saved me $150-200 already making them a great little investment.

I was a bit skeptical, but this was recommended to me by a friend. I used it on my cat, and it’s great. Cut through the fur like butter. Not super loud to be scary. Worked great for shaving my cat all over.

These clippers work the way you’d want them to; they’re quiet enough to not freak out my anxious cats, they’re easy to use and clean, and there’s plenty of different guards for whatever length you need. My only issue with these clippers is that they take an eternity to charge! The instructions say they should only need a couple hours to charge but that was not my experience. The clippers died part way through shaving one of my cats and I figured “hey no big deal, I’ll charge them and finish in an hour or two”. Buuuuut they ended up needing a full 8 hours to charge instead!
If you need reliable, easy to use clippers, these are a good purchase but just make sure you charge them regularly so they’re ready when you need them or you’ll be waiting a looong time to clip your furry friend.

This set is great for the price! I felt very safe using this on my dog and helps keep his coat neat in between grooming appointments so I can touch him up and bring him to the groomer less frequently.
