Watched Ben Gravy’s videos and saw the Ho Stevie products show up, figured what the heck, bought, and applied this pad to a new formie I bought, the adhesive sticks really well and the bump on the pad feels very nice. I am using this pad to help me pop up chicken wing style, should help tremendously. I will update as I use this board.
Update: I’ve surfed on this board five times now and all the seasons I’ve had with this pad it has performed wonderfully, it is comfy, the bump has helped me tremendously on my pop ups and it is holding up well, no tearing. There is no sign of the adhesive wearing out. Wonderful product!

Some would say, support your local shop you jerk, but I do support them and already bought 2 boards this year, so I think I can save $20 on this here pad 🙂
Worth it? Yeah. It uses the same 3M tape the big guys use. Texture? Sticky enough to almost rip the flesh off my knee! Overall, I’m happy with the pad. It was easy to apply and exactly as described. Just double check your measurements and color/pattern and you’re good to go.

I first started surfing back in 1960 when I bought my first board, a 9’2″ Dewey Weber. In 1998 I purchased my present board a G&S thruster. Since gaining a little weight. I found it now necessary to stiffen my board a bit. So I did all the work making ding repairs and then adding a new 4 oz layer of glass to stiffen the board. The traction pad is just because of my style. I like the comfort and style of the pad. Thanks, much.
