    I love this little arm.

I’ve got a bum ankle for a bit and was going to have to stay in bed for a few weeks to recover, and trying to use a monitor set on the nightstand next to me was making my neck ache after only a couple of hours.

I did quite a bit of shopping around, and this item seemed a good fit in terms of value and quality (according to reviews).

Let me add my endorsement to all the positive reviews. This thing is gnarly!

It might just be that I appreciate it a bit more than I normally would have if I were just adding it to a desk for normal use, but it honestly is a very high quality item.

It was extremely easy to assemble. Very sturdily built. The range-of-motion is outstanding, as is the overall stability.

I’ve got it mounted to a nightstand with a 27″ curved Samsung monitor mounted to it, and couldn’t be happier.

I can swing it over the side of the bed when I need to do a lot of typing or gaming. Then I can easily swing it back a bit (with one hand) and rotate the screen at an angle for comfortable viewing to lay on my side while watching a movie.

Didn’t hold much hope however I am very impressed. Purchased two of these mounts and very happy. They have allowed much more range of motion including very easy 180 spin for vertical monitor placement. I can now move screens out of the way or closer if i am concentrating. Really good quality, very sturdy and hold my 24″ monitor perfectly with no sagging.

The media could not be loaded.

Amazed by the flexibility of this thing. Really can turn at any weird angles which helps my work. I’m able to turn the monitor to face the visitors as well back to an angle where people standing could see. Love the hydraulic sound that comes with it that sounds like robocop. Only downside is I still haven’t figure out how to loosen the adapter holding the monitor. The instruction is to use the Allen key but it doesn’t fit. Need to check online on this

As the title says, this was my first time mounting a monitor. Actually I have never mounted anything! I usually keep my monitors on their stand or TV’s on a console.

I recently purchased a Dell S2721D to use as a dual monitor and larger screen for my Steam Deck. Unfortunately the base of the monitor stand was HUGE! It also only allowed the screen to tilt up or down, I needed more.

So a quick search on Amazon and I found this stand, what intrigued me was that it used gas for tension instead of coils. It also had a huge range of motion and tons of good reviews and was very affordable.

Come day of delivery I unboxed it, read the instructions and went to work. First piece of paper included separately from the instruction manual was directions on what to do if your desk has a metal frame and then wood boards on top of the frame. This was my case, I needed to take an extra step to make sure the base of the mount was secure to my desktop.

The instructions suggested using either a piece of wood to place under the desk next to the frame or a book, this way there is something there the same thickness of the wood + frame which would allow the gromet of the stand to catch onto something instead of just the lip of the metal frame.

I went with a thick book and it secured perfectly! Next step was to remove the plastic frame from the lower arm and the upper arm so I could feed my wires through. This is where I hit a slight snag, the screw for the bottom arm was in an awkward area, the provided Allan key/Phillips head combo was too small to get a good fit into the screw head and only took a couple of twists to realize it could strip the screw head. Luckily I had a different screw driver and with a little effort I was able to get the screw out and the piece open.

I placed my two HDMI wires and the power wire through the top cover first, made sure there was enough slack at the top and then screwed the plate back onto the top arm making sure it was not too tight. Then I pulled the cables down through the bottom plastic plate and screwed it back onto the bottom arm. Once I knew I had enough slack I tightened both covers.

Next up was actually mounting the monitor. I removed the 4 screws that were already in the monitor and replaced them with the screws provided with the stand as they had larger heads. I screwed in the top two just enough to keep them secure and then hung the monitor onto the top of the plate which was secured to the arm, think hanging a picture frame. Now that the monitor was hanging on the plate, I slowly let go of the monitor as to avoid having the arm slam down or dropping the monitor which is a little less than 10 pounds. It hung with no issue, the arm didn’t even go down in the slightest ( there’s that gas power! ).

I then secured the bottom two screws to the plate and tightened the top two screws, we were fully secured! I plugged in the power, the two HDMI cords and then rotated the screen 90 degrees to make it vertical and make sure I had enough slack for the monitor to rotate that far without causing pressure on the cords. Once that was done I pulled more of the cords down through the arms.

Last step was to reduce the tension of the arm so that the arm could move up and down without too much force. I reduced it just enough to allow full movement yet keep the monitor in its place once released.

Now I have full motion of the monitor, I can move it almost anywhere I need to to have the best view possible. This stand is solid, functional and the best bang for your buck!

At this price point I was very skeptical but gave it a shot knowing Amazon will have my back if it’s junk…

It’s AWESOME… all the parts feel high quality, the paint is thick and well applied, the components all feel solid and I was able to attach this to my desk using the clamp and drop my monitor on the arm in just a few minutes. The motion is very smooth and I love that I can not only adjust all the expected motion but I can rotate the screen away from me (towards the sky) so that it’s super easy to see / access all the inputs and cables on the back of the monitor.

I needed this style of mount as I have a two tier desk, so the pole style mounts won’t work with that… the clamp feels super solid and looks nice too… I have no concerns this is going to either damage my desk either. The clamp has a sizeable knob that was easy to hand tighten.

Also wanted to note the gas shock was perfect out of the box for my 27″ display… moves all around like it should and I didn’t need to mess with it. There is also a “drill a hole and mount through the desk top” option if you need it, they include both options in the box. It swivels all around nice and smooth and didn’t make a single noise whatsoever.

Keep in mind if you want your monitor dead center on your desk but towards the back and not in your face you simply have to clamp off to the side (either left or right) and then find where your screen needs to be and tighten it up again in that spot… they made this VERY easy thankfully because you can lift the screen with the upper portion off the base portion easily.

I really can’t think of anything to complain about, especially for the price I am totally satisfied.

Well made, good instructions and helpful video. Took a little fussing to get multiple screens postioned ‘just so’ but that me and not the product. I now have three, each supporting 35” monitors in a home recording studio.

It was extremly easy to install, and is easily holding on the monitor I’m using! ( my current actual monitor is being RMA’s) not sure how much my actual monitor weighs compared to this one I’m borrowing, will update if I have issues, but it seems super solid so far!! I upgraded from a simple monitor arm to this, and it’s great

I finally decided to mount my monitors with arms instead of the stands they came with. What a change. More desk room and the ease of adjustment make these easily worth the price. They are very easy to assemble, the mounting works with virtually all monitors, and they feel incredibly sturdy. I don’t worry about my monitors falling while they are attached to the arms. As I add monitors I will 100% buy more of these, as they are simple, sturdy, easy to use, and allow for a wide range of motion for the monitors.
