This product exceeded my expectations in a few ways. The quality was very high, and higher than I was expecting for the price. Also, I wanted a monitor stand that was tall and sturdy and thought that it would not be possible, but that product was both taller and more sturdy than I imagined. I would definitely recommend this product. The only disappointment that I have is that I do not (yet) have more of their products ๐Ÿ™‚

I regularly work at home since the start of the pandemic. I thought about adding a second monitor but the real estate of my desk (45 inch wide) wasn’t really good to accommodate my 34 inch ultrawide monitor and a second monitor. When I saw the variations of this type of monitor mount, it sounded like a great option.

I mounted a 29 inch ultrawide monitor onto the pole and arm attachment. I found it quite sturdy and capable of holding up a larger sized monitor.

Actually incredibly hefty and sturdy. Little difficult to move the arm with the monitor on it, but that’s easily fixed by removing the monitor.
10/10 do they sell extra arms so I can have more monitors??

For reference: used with LG 43UJ6300 tv andย

    this

    ย VESA adapter

TL;DR: just installed it, so far works pretty well for my larger-than-recommended screen using the grommet option (hole in desk). had to buy an adapter because my screen needs a 200×200 VESA and then do some further diy to make it work, but not to bad!

I live in a rental, so If I can avoid screwing into my wall I will. On top of that, the studs are metal, which complicates mounting things into them, so this is the best alternative I could find. the product isn’t technically recommended for a screen this big, but the LG tv happens to be pretty light (supposedly 18.5lbs) so since it was within that limit I decided to take the chance.
I needed a mount that could attach to my desk while also raising the bottom of my tv above the top of my other monitor (around 15″ tall). This is one of the only things that fit the bill, with some adjustments.
I had to buy a VESA adapter(~$14) because the tv is 200×200, and the one I bought came with screws that were just a hair too big for this VESA plate, so I ended up using my drill (3/16 bit in my case) to widen the holes ever so slightly. the screws that come with this mount to attach the monitor to it were also too small for the threaded holes in my tv, but the adapter I bought came with screws that fixed that issue, and that probably related to the fact that this isn’t originally intended for a 200×200 VESA, so no problem.
I had to drill a hole in my desk and use the grommet set up to make my set up work, because my desk is a bit too thick for the clamp and also has a lip on it. Don’t love that I had to do that, but the desk is a bit junky anyway, and this is one of the only mounts that works for this kind of thing (tv to desk) so I am working with what I’ve got. The biggest bit I have is 1/4in and this definitely needs a bigger hole (maybe 3/8?), but with some creative drilling I got it to work fine.
The bolt knob thing that goes underneath doesnt interfere with my drawer at all, which I love. you can kind of see what it’s like in the picture inside the drawer. when I first set it up I screwed it as tightly as I could, but with the weight of the tv it got a bit loose so I had to tighten it further at the end.
As far as the weight support goes, so far so good, but I just mounted it. the combined weight of my tv and mounting plate is around 20.7lbs (according to the info provided by the respective manufacturers), so it’s definitely cutting it close for this item’s capacity. There is a slight angling forward for the whole pole, which improved once I tightened the knob underneath more. The part that slides into the VESA plate is difficult to tighten enough to prevent the screen from angling down, and the bottom of the screen ends up resting against the pole (somewhat visible in the 3rd pic). It probably would be better if I could tighten the screw that allows adjustment further, but I feel like I’m going to break the provided allen key if I try any harder. Not a huge deal in the end because its so high up that it kind of needs to tilt anyway, but a little annoying.
If I remember, I will update this in a few months to see how it has lasted.
Over all, so far very pleased! They should advertise this for larger screens within the weight limit because it’s so hard to find something like this! I ordered and returned another mount before finding this one.

I bought this to have a monitor 61cm above my desk to go above my main one, I just finished installing it and so far I am satisfied. It required more assembly then I thought it was going but it was very straight forward. Placing the monitor onto the arm once the plate was installed was very simple and easy, it was much easier then my main screen monitor arm. So far it seems sturdy but I will be moving the monitor that sits below this arm out of the way incase its construction isn’t as reliable as it seems.

My only issue is with the height adjustment, its done through an allen key which is typical but if you already have a monitor on there and you want to adjust the height to be a bit lower its either the bolt is to tight to adjust the height at all or its loose and when you move the arm down the weight will cause the whole thing to violently drop down and no way to micro adjust with everything together. When adjusting its height make sure your always support the monitors weight and prepare for unexpected release of weight and remove anything that’s below it.

Will update as time goes on.

I now have 4 screens and my SO told me I have a problem, which I agree with her. The problem being; I need more screens.

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, let me introduce you to the Mount Everest of monitor stands: the HUANUO Single Monitor Stand Desk Mount. Before this towering titan graced my desk, my screen setup was more “meh” than “wow.” Now? It’s like watching the sunset from a penthouse every day!

First off, this thing is TALL. How tall? Imagine a giraffe that decided to quit the safari gig and go into tech support. That’s how tall. At a majestic 39 inches, I half-expected it to come with a warning label: “Beware of nosebleeds at high altitudes.” But fear not, this pinnacle of ergonomic excellence brings your screen to eye level, so you can say goodbye to the chiropractor. My neck has never been so relaxed; itโ€™s practically on vacation.

The range of motion is something out of a NASA training manual. Swivel left? Check. Tilt right? Done. Rotate for a little landscape-to-portrait action? Itโ€™s like my monitor just joined a dance troupe. And the stability? This stand holds my screen like a mother cradling her newborn. No wobbles, no shakesโ€”just unshakeable support up to 22 pounds. That’s right, it could secure a small dog if needed (not recommended, but a fun visual).

Let’s not forget the C Clamp/Grommet Base installation. I was prepared to summon my inner handyman, thinking this would be a day-long saga. Nope! It was easier than assembling a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. The clamp is so steadfast, Iโ€™m considering it for a role as a vice in my next home renovation.

The style? Sleek, modern, with a hint of “I mean business.” It doesnโ€™t just elevate my monitor; it elevates the whole room. I’m half tempted to charge admission for the viewing pleasure it offers.

In conclusion, if my monitor could talk, it would sing sonnets about this stand. Five stars for being the high-rise hero my home office desperately needed. ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ

P.S. If you ever find yourself needing a quick elevation boost, just stand on this standโ€”just kidding! Please enjoy responsibly from your ergonomic, back-saving, neck-pampering new setup.

I bought 2; my monitors are 28โ€ each with the VESA mount awkwardly placed near the top back vs in the middle where most are located, so I needed an arm that goes high enough; this arm works great. Easy to put together and is sturdy. I have one monitor in a vertical position and the other is horizontal. No complaints.

Currently stacking 2 Ultra wides with this mount as well as a small 15 incher. Total of 3 monitors. Holds up strong with minimal movement. Tools are needed to make any big rotational changes. The arms also swivel. Easy to setup and there is good weight on the mount. I shake my table and everything is good without any movement.
