Put it together and it was dead. Took it apart, tighten up the igniter and seems to work. If your 7 feet tall and want to stand right under it you may feel the heat, but sorry I’m only 6’5″ not much heat down here! Very impressive if you just want to watch the flame otherwise I cannot recommend this. I threw out my box (don’t like trash maybe I should throw this out too?) otherwise it would be going back. My stupidity! Next one I’ll try the $97 heater I don’t think they could be worse? Should be able get some heat from it? Buy it for looks not for heat!

Used it twice no heat. To the dump it goes. I did keep the screws and propane hose I guess not a total loss! (Expensive bunch of screws and Hose)

So far these have lived up to my expectations. They arrived a day before the initial expected date which was a nice surprise. These were less expensive than the versions at my local hardware store so I assumed they would be a lesser quality but for the most part the components don’t feel cheap. They took about an hour to assemble (I was distracted by college basketball on TV) but they were easy to put together following the instructions included and the video that is linked in the instruction pamphlet. I did a little bending to a few components to get them to fit flush but this is almost always the case for anything that is shipped. I have never had patio heaters of this type before and they are a bit tricky to get going even after following the attached instructions exactly and watching a few YouTube videos, since both units were the same challenge maybe it’s just a me problem and will become easier after a few uses. Patience paid off and I was able to get them both lit. The control knobs are a somewhat thin plastic and I managed to crack one when fiddling with it trying to get them lit but purchased some seemingly more durable universal type knobs from the local hardware store to replace the others, again this might have been a me issue when having difficulty getting them lit initially. One of the front panels was also missing one of the two tabs (likely a shipping casualty although I didn’t find a broken off tab in the box) that fits into a slot in the bottom that helps to secure the front panel, annoying but the magnet closure is strong enough that it holds the panel in place securely with only one of the two tabs inserted and it doesn’t affect the functionality of the patio heater at all. They definitely fit the look I was going for and put out detectable heat but I can’t speak to how truly effective they are because I live in southern Arizona and it was 78 degrees today in late February, the worst temperatures they will combat hover around 30-40 degrees Fahrenheit. Overall, I am happy with them so far.

I like the heater for the small purpose I purchased it for. It does not put out enough heat sometimes (a lot of variables like wind, extreme cold, etc.). It was ok to put together…ended up being so much larger than I thought. Easy to ignite. The only issue I have with it is…it sits on my deck so every time you walk within 10 feet of the thing, every metal guard and the metal front door clangs against the metal frame. If you can see in the picture, I have to put small wood chips between the metal guards and frame to minimize the noise…but cannot eliminate the noise. I still give it 5 stars because it is as advertised and works like I wanted it to. I just did not expect it to produce the noise it makes sitting on my deck. Could be just my OCD.

This heater is AMAZING!! It arrived quickly, undamaged and in well organized protective packaging. The directions were clear and easy to put together, no additional tools were required. The quality of the materials is wonderful!! So worth the price. Everything fit together perfectly without stripping screws. It adds such an ambiance to our patio while also providing us warmth and coziness on our New England spring nights. Can’t wait to use it and entertain this summer!! Would absolutely recommend and purchase again if we decide we need a second one! Thanks!!
