I needed an inexpensive 12 string for gigs. We are a rock band that does a few acoustic involved covers (Wanted Dead or Alive by Bon Jovi, for example). I have some very nice, more expensive acoustics that I get nervous about getting knocked over on the stand, so I sought something of quality but somewhat “disposable” in case of an accident. I got way more than I bargained for with the Ibanez. They are still one of the best guitars for the money at any playing level. I did have to make some adjustments for tuning, but once it was dialed in, it was stellar! I have guitars that cost four times as much that give the Ibanez a run for their money in terms of playing and sound. I highly recommend this guitar. Good quality, sound, and most important, fun to play.

I wanted a 12 string for a long time and have been looking at a number of different ones. I’m very happy with my desicion to buy this one, it has a nice tone both plugged in and unplugged. I’ve been playing it for about two weeks now and I am very impressed. If you want a smaller 12 string that sounds great and is comfortable to play I recommend giving this one a try. It is a bit thinner than a 6 string and the neck is very playable. I have no complaints and I am very happy to have this guitar in my collection. I haven’t been playing any of my other guitars since I got it. I managed to get it at a discount but even at the full price this guitar is a steel.

The damage to this guitar was not from shipment. It’s obvious from the terrible glue joint that this guitar should never have left the manufacturer. Terrible quality control Ibanez.
I should include that this would have been my 8th Ibanez guitar, it’s my preferred brand. I’m extremely disappointed by such an obvious flaw making it to market.

this guitar was delivered yesterday and i’ve been using it for a day and it sounds so nice bro, quality is good, easy to tune, the battery that it comes with was so easy to put inside, and everything about it is so good and it’s amazing product for $360. so worth the money especially if you’re learning corridos tumbados.

Another fantastic guitar by Ibanez. Action is really good from factory. I really like the tuner function. It has an easy to see screen that reminds me of a bath scale with the moving lines. I never seen one like this before. Even though it has a shallow body it stills has a mellow sound.

This is a great guitar for beginners and experienced players alike. The action is great, making this guitar easy to play even on the higher frets. The built in tuner is an awesome feature. Most of my playing now a days is around a campfire so to be able to tune on the fly is handy. I have only had this guitar for 2 days but there doesn’t seem to be any quality issues. I would have given 5 stars but not a huge fan of the stock strings (Low E is a little buzzy) I already had planned to swap them out prior to the guitar arriving. I would buy again.

This guitar is honestly incredible! I needed a 12 string suitable for gigs around the city, not to expensive, not too cheap. Amazing sound, nice small body, extremely playable right out the box. What’s not too like. Similar size to the “CE” body Taylor’s, so if you’re looking for an alternative, here it is!

Guitar player for 20 years. I always wanted a 12-string guitar. Ibanez never fails to impress! Even though this price point might be more “entry-level”, it feels and sounds incredible. Electronic preamp/mic hardware is solid, and onboard tuner works great. Action is low to and strings very playable. I will be using this for a long time!
