Needed a gig bag for ESP Snakebyte, which is uniquely shaped and comes with an enormously heavy hard case that is really hard to transport. Did a lot of research and took a chance on this one. So relieved that this case fits! It has a little more than half a foot extra space at the top (since it’s intended for bass.) The rest of it fits snugly.
Haven’t used it yet but it feels comfortable on my back. The bag itself seems to be of quality, with thick padding on all sides. (Note this is the “premium” version of this bag. I think there is a slightly less expensive version that may not have as much padding.) There’s several zip pockets on the outside to hold stuff, which is nice.
The only improvement I can think of is to have the zipper open all the way around the bottom to be able to fully open the case. (Unless it purposely doesn’t so there’s no way the instrument can fall out?) The way it’s made, it’s slightly cumbersome getting the instrument in and out because you have to sort of slide it in. But that’s not a big deal. Overall, very happy and excited to have found this bag!
