Currently in the hospital and these things were the best thing I have ever brought. I had extremely small forearms and irregularly worked them out.

If you’re someone who hasn’t been in and out of the hospital you won’t understand the downside of having small firearms so a brief summary. Everyone knows the more weight you do the better your gains, but you’re veins become much more transparent. I used to get poked 6 times in my arms with no luck. I had to gradually get all the way to the 1 setting ( 140 pounds?…). I’m now being told “you have amazing veins” and that “your veins are so easy to find” I am in love with this product. And I will be buying every single one as I finish the current one. This has saved me so much pain and time.

Additionally my forearms feel and look much bigger. I can now lift heavier things including myself up, I know longer have small t-Rex arms and it just overall has made me feel better sitting down watching a movie and squeezing my grippers for 5 minutes and being done at home compared to having to go to the gym, prep my weights, clean them, get the bands / tiny reps – I’m getting noticeable results in less than a month. I’m impress and in love.

One downside – the design is great cause your hands won’t slip. Issue is after doing it 5 minutes every day the skin on my pink ripped and tore – was bleeding for a few days. Putting tennis grips on it helped immensely. Additionally, don’t over use this product as I had a friend who used it for and hour and messed his wrist up badly. 5 minutes a day is enough.

Qualité très professionnelle, belle finition, beaux chanfreins, moletage doux pour les mains. J’ai acheté le no.2(195 livres) et il est plus difficile à fermer que mon autre poignée de force de 200 livres. J’adore !

These things used to squeak so loud my dog will wake up from a nap and move away out of sheer annoyance. I added a bit of paste wax and the squeak disappeared
Sturdy, comfortable. Listen to what they say about which resistance to pick. They are right.

I’m pretty new to grip training. In the past I had gotten some other grip trainers and developed a semi-regular habit for a little while, but it felt like I wasn’t really getting anything out of it. Well, I see why now lol. I’d gone for lower-end products, like what you could find at most stores. The adjustable ones I thought at the time were nice, the ability to work up, but if you’re a guy with decent passive strength (not a bodybuilder or rockclimber, just a regular dude) you’ll probably find yourself mastering that relatively quickly and just sort of getting bored and forgetting about them (much like myself). With these I’m reminded that there’s a reason good things may cost a little more or be harder to find.

I started with a #1, and that’s a good spot for me currently. They recommend starting a little lower, but I like having a bit of a challenge on the front end. I think I chose well. I could close them, but it’s not easy, you know? And that difficulty makes me more excited about using them. I’d rather struggle to get to like 5 than be able to blast out 50 without feeling any burn. Then after a while, the comfort in doing more reps will feel earned.

And I really don’t mind that these aren’t adjustable nor that they’re sold as singles. You can buy two I suppose, (I always used to think you needed a pair?) but really I think if you’re double fisting, you might just need to go up a level and focus on one hand a time. As for adjustability, I think their numbered system of individual weights works better. Even if it’s somewhat of a marketing thing (maybe but not really), I like the idea of having a solid and well built product that is 100% the weight it states, and once you become comfortable with that, that’s that. And I’m excited to make that next step up.

Also, to be clear, I’m not just saying they’re tough. They’re of very good quality as well. You know that annoying squeaky/clinky sound cheap that cheap grip trainers make when you’re going to town on them? I don’t! Not anymore lol. This is a solid product. No plastic components, no foam tube that slides off, no tiny tin plate that slides around as you close them, no squeaky-squeaky, no wondering if you should duct tape the handles for your hand’s sake. It’s a nice, weighty metal feeling, and the handle has a nice texture that neither slips nor hurts your hands.

So positive all around if you couldn’t tell. And one day I will ascend to bigger numbers.

I bought this to build my grip strength and just to get a relative measure of grip strength from day to day and I’ve really enjoyed it so far. I researched several grippers and what stood out to me about this one was its simplicity and the quality and durability of the materials. I have no fear of this breaking or inconsistency in its resistance force. The knurling doesn’t hurt my hands at all, I don’t find it overly heavy, and I don’t mind the slight squeaking noise it makes during use. The shape and size makes it easy to store too. I keep it by my desk and use it every day and have already noticed an improvement in my grip strength. I think it’s fairly priced considering I’ll be using this for a while until I’m ready to move up to the next level. I think the design and look is also very appealing as well. Overall I’m very happy with this purchase and plan to buy a level 2 version in the future when I’ve worked up to it.

I was a little unsure on what level to get to start out, I’m 6ft 250lb and I started with the trainer. I really am glad that I did start with these as I can do more than 10 reps with each hand it is intense. The price is good I’m going to buy a pair of no.1 so I can challenge myself. I can say this that the grips are very nicely diamond patterned and over time you will get those nice tough hands ✋️ update 2 months later I can do the 140lb 10 reps and clack them closed each hand these work! I’m getting the 1.5s these have definitely given me a good firm grip and I started with the trainers 100lb only doing 4 reps each hand.

Expensive but excellent quality so worth it. It is the trainer model but don’t under estimate that, it’s still a tough model to master as you work on your grip strength. Highly recommended

How do I know they do their job? I bought the trainer first and could barely close it, and two weeks later I crushed the #1 which is a lot harder. Buy these. I now have 4 and I didn’t have to wait thanks to amazon prime!

Why I just now heard about these and the importance of grip strength after recently turning 30, I’ll never know. Are these some kind of secret kept between the most elite athletes? I bumped into them while doing some research for developing false grip strength for muscle ups on the rings. At 6’1″ 200 lbs, I consider a muscle up a nice feat of strength for me. I can do pull ups and dips no problem, and the transition isn’t even a problem, but the first time I tried a false grip, I couldn’t even support my weight. After a couple months of progressions doing rows, I can finally hold enough weight to jump into a muscle up, but strength for the false grip is still my limiting factor keeping me from doing it properly. I read about these and decided to start with a trainer. I was torn between starting with the trainer and the #1, but after reading some reviews I went with the trainer. I’m glad I did. I can pump 10 out with my right hand no problem, but 5 is pretty much the limit with my left. My right hand is considerably stronger than my left, so I do whatever I can with my left hand and repeat it with my right so the left can catch up somewhat. Even if you can start with a #1, I would recommend the trainer for warm ups. These are the most solid, effective, quality pieces of grip training equipment on the market, and I am very happy with my results so far. I intend to add an update when I progress to the #1.

After my first workout using the trainer, I was unable to close it with my left hand two days later, and I could barely close it with my right hand. I could tell I over did it, and no warm up reps took a toll. I liked the trainer so much I ordered the guide and sport. When I received them, I proceeded to to warm up and I pumped out 10 reps with the trainer in both my left and right hand no problem! I immediately ordered the #1. Every time I can do 10 reps with both hands I’m ordering the next level. I got the #1 yesterday and squeezed it once with both hands for two sets, then I couldn’t close it with either hand for the rest of the day. I can’t put these things down, but I don’t want inflammation or injury so I’m trying to do it every other day. How I could barely close the trainer one week, and then close the #1 the next, I have no idea, but I definitely recommend warming up with the easier CoCs first. I actually feel stronger after warming up, and it reduces chances of injury. I can’t believe I just spent over $100 on these in a two week period, but I do think they are worth every penny if you want to strengthen your grip.
