I have a 17-year-old Arthritic cat in his hip and spine. He is bigger, so I give him 2 pills in the morning 1 in the evening. He doesn’t like junk mixed in with his food, so I use a pill gun to give him these.
He was only recently diagnosed in an animal hospital emergency visit, so he was in so much pain and discomfort from everything. He was prescribed opioids for pain, but I now give him gabapentin along with these pills. The opioids (buprenorphine) made him into a constipated numb cat with no personality who sleeps. No quality of life whatsoever. I also did not want him to become dependant on that stuff. The vet said that there were not a lot of options available to treat arthritic cats and was no help after prescribing his pain meds. I had considered putting him down because he was in poor shape but then decided to research what was out there. That is when I found these.
I have only given him doses of the duralactin for 3 days but already the swelling in his hip has noticeably gone down. I know that the pain medicines did not help with the inflammation because they are not NSAIDS, but rather this stuff. He is still very fragile and not able to jump yet or move around with ease, but we will get there.
He definitely has improved. THANK YOU!

I have tried everything for my cat, who I thought wasn’t going to live another week. He’s old and he was losing weight and he was basically starving. Chronic diarrhea. This took is inflammation down and he has started gaining weight. He has started moving around about better. It has caused him to throw up a couple times I just had to lower the dose. I would recommend this before trying prednisone it seems to be safer. And he can’t seem to taste it in his food and he is very picky about that.

We used this on 2 cats. One is 17 years old, he’s had skin and arthritis issues and been on/off prednisolone for some time. Our other cat is only 4 years old and she’s had what we suspect is a rheumatoid type arthritis because nothing shows up on x-rays (had multiple vets examine her) but for such a young cat, she’s lost her ability to jump and on rainy days she is obviously more stiff than on warmer/dryer days. Even though they can’t pin point a cause, she was obviously dealing with some pain/stiffness. We had been treating her with both a steroid and antibiotic shot every 8-12 weeks to reduce inflammation, but I didn’t like the idea of doing that long term and the effects of the prescription seemed to wear off very quickly. The shots lasted maybe 2-3 weeks at best.
I have them both on an Omega 3 supplement and started googling other natural remedies because it broke my heart to see the 4 year old in pain. She recently stopped being active completely, she no longer asked to play. All she did was curl up and try to avoid our other cats. She couldn’t even get comfortable sitting on my lap which is something she used to love to do.
Desperately started googling and found this, figured what the hell won’t hurt to try it. Seemed to good to be true. After 2 weeks the 4 year old is back to her active self. It’s absolutely mind blowing to me. She’s playing, she’s running around, she’s social again, no longer avoiding the other cats, she’s obviously more comfortable and active and back to her old self. And our 17 year old??? It’s like it took 5 years off for him. He’s way more comfortable/relaxed, much more social and it’s helping with his skin issues as well in ways the steroid never did. I’m at the point where I’m able to start weaning him off the steroid.
This supplement gave our cats a new lease on life. The 17 year old doesn’t mind it mixed in his food. The 4 year old does, so for her I just open up a capsule, mix it with a tiny bit of water and put in a plastic syringe. She doesn’t seem to mind the taste when given this way, but doesn’t like it in her food. Thankfully no side effects, they tolerate it well. We are so grateful we found this. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

My cat pulls his hair out in chunks. I’ve been working with him for 3 years and found he has many allergies. Even after putting him on an environmental allergy medication, he seems to be allergic to all protein, but fish, so I only give him fish, he still pulls his hair out. Ive tried many things and nothing works. He has not stopped completely pulling his hair out, but this product has helped a lot. It’s a huge difference, it’s minimal now. He has been using this for about 4-6 weeks now. It took a few days to notice a difference. I also brush him every morning and then spray him with John Paul Pet Oatmeal Conditioning Spray and brush him again. Using both helps a lot. I thought he has problem hair, he kept getting matted hair. I used a lot of different shampoos and didn’t like them. I tried John Paul cat shampoo and the problem hair disappeared. His hair is soft now. Another tip for constipated cats- He would also cry when going to the bathroom. I put him in pre/probiotics and it worked, he doesn’t cry anymore. Hope this helps your cat. It has taken years to figure out what helps him.
