Works as advertised, I love mine. I have a Marshall amp but I also use a Fender for smaller gigs (both amps are tube). Now I can use my Princeton Reverb for cleans or at the tap of a button – a surprisingly good Marshall sound.

Great pedal for the dough better than many pedals costing five times as much. I’ve been in the music business for over 50 years have over 20 guitars and almost 200 pedals.

I’ve owned tons of expensive amps, “amp pedals”, distortions, preamps and so on. This Joyo Rigel is, somehow, for only about $50, the best I’ve ever used for hi-gain tones. I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s better than the $2,000 amps I’ve owned. It’s not good “for its price”, it’s good period and it just so happens to also be dirt cheap. There’s tons of room in the EQ stack for tone shaping, which is good because I hear the pedal this is based on, the KSR Ceres, lacks bass even at max. The only thing this is missing is a poweramp or cab simulator, but I don’t think I’d want one anyway, since I like to use my own IR loader or my own poweramp+cab. If you like high-gain tones, buy this immediately.

Perfetto e versatile per sonorità heavy.

i originally got this pedal for the sound gate because I play in a garage band and have been tired of the loud feedback. but it’s like the feedback is worse because I can hear it while palm muting on fast play throughs. I am very disappointed in that aspect. But I will say I really like the sound of the pedal. I know you get what you pay for but with the price of everything these days we can at least dream.
if you aren’t going to crank your volume then this pedal will work well for you and have a good sound. if you are going to crank it then spend some more cash for a decent pedal with a sound gate

LOk this is the last I’ll buy anything from JOYO. No Joy in JOYO land. I ordered the Boost pedal a few months ago and they sent me an empty box… ok. Strike one. Hassled with getting a refund and waited for the new one, got it, it works ok, whatever. I order the Bright day pedal to try out for a gig, Item finally arrives and is defective, loose connection at the output jack connection. Hassled with returning item and wait for new one, new one also F’ing defective, I open the battery compartment and pieces literally fall out. WTF is with the quality control. The price is enticing but this company his an utter waste of your time. If you want to actually reveive a working item, chose another manufacturer.

Well I’m not one to leave reviews often only when I feel it’s warranted and that’s how I feel about this JOYO AVALLON compressor. Over the years I’ve tried so many compression pedals to help smooth out my playing, (I’m NOT the greatest bassist), and I’m certainly NOT one of the richest ones either so my pockets are rather thin. I’ve gone through so many middle of the road units and have never been happy with them and that was mainly because of the noise compressors inherently provide. Now unless you have $200-$300+ dollars to purchase a highend compressor then that’s a different story but since I don’t I’m limited.
Enter the JOYO AVALLON compressor. I gave it a shot at its price point and I have to say it is VERY IMPRESSIVE and SUPREMELY QUIET. It has actually gone toe to toe with a Cali76 we have at church.
It’s super easy to use. It’s built solid, the control knobs are super sturdy. The ONLY CHEESY PART are the two plastic input/output silver knobs which I easily replaced with aluminum ones. Other than that the pedal is a solid 10/10.
***** However PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT IT RUNS ON 120mA’s and GREATER and NOT the 100mA’s a USUAL POWER SUPPLY OFFERS. *****
I’m running mine at 300mA’s which my power supply offers and the pedal is a dream.
So if you’re looking for a great yet INEXPENSIVE, quiet compressor pedal look no further.
The JOYO is top notch and a great bang for your money! I highly recommend it.
(BTW, The JOYO SCYLLA Compressor is also great too the only difference being is that it is smaller in size, has a tone knob but offers no LED strip to show you the gain response, something I needed).

Ive used this pedal for months now and it dont matter what guitar i use it gets a great tone from mild crunch all the way up to super distortion great pedal decent quality and I love it and the price is superb for what you get even if your a real high end type of pedal guy this is a great back up at the very least been playing for 50 plus years and it s a great pedal and so are any other Joyo pedals I have give them a try!…

Good quality sound.

Great noise gate, hangs in with a TC Sentry easily. Not quite as good as my Fortin zuul, or a revv g8, maybe 90% there, but for the price, it wins. One day the foot switch stopped turning it on, opened up and soldered a wire across it to keep it always on. Setting up for a gig it stopped working, only passing input sound out. Opened up again, found a SOT23 with cold solder joints and one pin lifted. Reflowed and the gate is back in action.

The JOYO Line Selector Pedal is perfect for my needs. I have two pedal boards that I use together. I didn’t like having both pedal boards connected together and running simultaneously because of the signal loss from too many patch cables and pedals. With this line selector pedal, I can easily switch from one pedal board to the other, or I can use them both together, if needed. Or I can bypass both boards and output directly to my amplifier. It is noiseless too. No hum, no hiss. Very simple to use, I figured it out in a few minutes without the instruction manual. Lightweight and it doesn’t take up a lot of space on the pedal board. It looks pretty cool, too. It is exactly what I needed. Makes my life playing music much easier. I gotta give a shoutout to JOYO. I have a few different pedals from them and I am a happy customer. They work well, no noise issues, simple to use, and they sound great. Best of all is their price tags. Very affordable. For the JOYO Line Selector Pedal, 5 stars. Very happy that I purchased it

The best compressor I’ve ever had, including all three of the Boss CS series and a Digitech Main Squeeze. Tweak to find your desired sweet spot. It’s silent in operation.
The only downside is the on/off status light is very bright. Just stick a bit of paper over it to reduce the glare. I’ve also disabled the over the top edge lighting using the switch on the base.
In conclusion, I leave it on all the time it’s so good. Unbeatable at this price.
