Instructions are terrible, but we finally figured out the freestanding tent. Now that we’ve done it once it should go smoother. Tent was great so far. After a few days we brought out the collar piece to see how it attached to the trailer and discovered it had a hole in it. My hubby said the box was a bit damaged and trapped up like it may have been a return. Not happy with buying something new that was actually used.
Update: contacted the company via email. Very quick response and received a partial credit ( what I asked for- will patch ourselves and not have to deal with reboxing and return). Great customer service!

When we were originally looking into buying this, we were hesitant because we were worried that it might not fit our truck. Our truck with the topper window open sits around 6’6” – 6’8” high and the tent still fits it great with room to spare! It only took a few minutes to set the entire thing up with just 2 people, and it’s amazing quality! We are over the moon happy with this purchase and can’t wait to get our use out of it!

Nice tent for price. Would have received a perfect rating if included step by step instructions with illustrations and if it were easier to put back into the bag. Had to purchase a new tent bag, because couldn’t get it back into original bag.

The canopy was awesome. On our first trip out using the canopy, we experienced the nice openness and view. Then the rain came. We were able to quickly put the side covers in place. Everything stayed dry inside. Next it started snowing and the canopy/tent did an amazing job holding up to the snow. We got six inches of snow in one night. We just needed to knock off the snow off the roof every couple of hours. My only request is that the strings for the lever poles be a little longer. My fingers are too large to tie a bow with the short straps.

It is HEAVY. As a single female, I can move it while in the case. BUT “Popping up” the center is a horrible undertaking and it was impossible for me to set this up.
I wish I could have set it up because it looks nice and I’d be able to rest the back injury I got setting it up
BELLA BIJOU –
The zippered doors cannot be closed. Under way too much tension. very difficult stresses on door poles. Can see the zippers are about to tear. Never able to close either door. On the first trip where it was used, it collapes when a storm came in. It’s a one use product. Great idea, very bad engineering. You would think they would test these out before selling them, but the material and limited return policy tells you they are not interested in having return customers. Could not be more disappointed.

Set up is not that easy as each side folds into itself when you pull on each panel, definitely easier with two people. Definitely a learning curve to assemble.
Poles would not insert into the pocket sleeve at the bottom of the door because the pocket sleeve was too small. I had to cut the sleeve to make it bigger to insert the poles. Attaching the SUV cover is a challenge.
The gazeebo in its storage bag is 6 ft so hauling it in a SUV may be a challenge
Overall I’m not happy with the setup issues and it’s not a quick setup. I would not purchase based on my experience.
