I have been using a Korean makeup brand for the last 10 years, and am now unable to get it in my preferred shade in the US. I have been searching for a replacement for it and at long last, I think this is it. About my skin: I am fair with some oily skin and some dry patches, I use SPF 50 moisturizer prior to applying makeup, and I don’t need heavy coverage. Things I look for in a makeup: SPF 50, light to medium coverage to even skin tone, and gives that slightly dewy glow. I have tried a lot of brands trying to find this combination (which I was getting from the makeup I can no longer get). Here is the breakdown for this product:

Pros: SPF 50 (fully protected my skin outdoors for a couple hours without the need to reapply), easy application (I like the way the compact is built to have a place to dab excess off the cushion applicator), nice coverage (not full by any means, but enough to even out my skin tone), the range of available shades is nice (it is often difficult for me to find something that matches my skin tone), price (costs half what I was paying for my old makeup).

Cons: need to use extra moisturizer prior to applying to avoid dry appearance. Does not give quite the dewy appearance that I like, but my skin does look healthy in this brand.

I also want to give kudos to this company for offering a trial / travel size! I really appreciated being able to try out the makeup for $10, rather than paying $30 for something I might not like. The travel size fits perfectly in my purse too.

The bottom line: I really like the protection, coverage and look of this makeup. I’m so happy to have finally found a reasonably priced alternative to my old makeup!

I didn’t usually wear foundation for my day-to-day make up just because I couldn’t find one that has decent coverage, lightweight, and without needing a lot of buildup. I decided to invest on this and I love it. I don’t use a lot, but it evens out my skin tone well. It’s got a nice natural finish (I used to go for the matte look but now I decided to embrace my combination skin and go for the more dewy look) – I do use a dewy primer under it and it hasn’t flaked out on me yet. It doesn’t seem like it has much product (so I guess the price per oz it *is* actually on the pricier side), but a little goes a long way and I don’t feel like my face is weighed down, yet it smooths the texture out nicely. Just a squish of the cushion, tap the excess off, then gently pat my face with it (I think they recommend outwards in, but I do it the other way so I use less concealer for any remaining blemishes). Add a bit of cheek tint, and my everyday “natural look” is all set.

for reference i’m very fair and cool toned (a shade 13 milky beige in missha perfect cover). i read the hype about this product and bought the lightest shade in fair 01. it’s way too yellow, like not even passable without looking sickly on my skin. i know they have a fair pink (17) but that’s too dark for me. i wish they had made the palest shade in pink tones or at least neutral tones as well. as for the application the sponge is round (ideally the sponge has a soft point) low quality, thin and rigid. i would press to get the contours of my face and the outer ring of the sponge would leave a ring. i had to follow up with a beauty blender to get the contours of my nose and eyes. as for longevity, i don’t know. i had to remove the makeup because it looked so bad on me.

This is the best foundation I’ve ever used. Never gets cakey and it has such a light finish I forget I even have it on. NO transfer either! First foundation I can wear without powder or setting spray and it stays on ALL day!
Absolutely love everything about it. The applicator is perfect, as well as the storage case. This will forever be my new go-to for everyday use. I have rosacea and it easily covers all my reddness, and doesn’t worsen it! Highly recommend!
