If you are using these indoors, they are great quailty. 15 inch is large and heafty in size. However if your plan is to use outdoors, be aware there is no cap for the top lamp and would likey get damaged by weather. Had to return for this reason.

I installed this light myself and was very impressed with the quality of the product, finish and unique mounting plate that is substantially more secure than the typical flimsy arm supplied with most wall mount lights. It casts a nice light downwards only like a wall washing pot light. Eliminates any hot spots when viewed from the front, but not a good choice if you want to cast a light out for illuminating a larger area.
However in trying to re-order another 4 of them for another location on my house, I was NOT impressed with the wildly fluctuating prices at Amazon and others as well as the unreliable supply of such a simple light. This light has about 4 parts and could not be easier to manufacture but has prices ranging from $46 to $80 depending on when and where you shop.

Item is beautiful. Installation was way too complicated as mounting plate flexes/bends when screwed into gang plate. When mounting plate flexes, the bolts on light fixture no longer align with mounting plate for install. Had this issue with all 6 lights I installed.

Sure, the lights are great – solid, easy to install – and they look amazing! However, the best part is the customer service. One of the screws I received to attach the light to the base was messed up – see pic. I called the customer service number and a real person answered right away. Within three minutes, a new screw was headed my way at no cost. Gotta love when a real person answers the phone without waiting for 10 minutes on hold! Way to go, Kichler!!

I feel like majority of people will be using this for outdoor light solution, without the buying an additional >$20 lens the lamp cannot be used in outdoor situations where it will be exposed to rain. I dug into Amazon description for this product and did discover a small footnote buried in a bunch of words that says you need top lens for outdoor rating,
Since majority of people will be buying for outdoor use, I think it should be very clear that you need a top lens for this light. This should possibly be a buying option triggered at ordering step. A $99 light suddenly becomes a $125 lamp.
In addition, an essential part for the lamp, a mounting bar(uniqued to lamp), was left out of the shipment, along with some screws. I have sent email to seller for a solution to missing hardware, and will wait for response and update my review based upon their response
The lamp looks nice and sturdy, reasonably good quality.

I was initially skeptical as the lights are directional to top and bottom. But I need something a little more modern so I bought 4 for my remodeled house. The lights provide excellent illumination and look very good. My wife said all the neighbors complimented her on the lights.
Don’t forget to get the cover as I assume most people install this outside and would touch the elements.
