CMA –
Perfect for feeding nuthatches and woodpeckers around my yard. Feeder design prevents crows, blackbirds, etc. from eating the suet cake, because they can’t feed upside down. I got no melt suet cake with hot peppers and my bottom feeder birds loved it. Well constructed, should last a long time.
My Kids Dad –
Woodpeckers eat from it but grackles and doves do not, yeah
SFWINO –
But the birds finally figured out how it worked…especially the woodpeckers
Blueseyed –
It holds two small suet cakes stacked. The woodpeckers seem to love them, so do the squirrels, raccoons and possum. Holds up to the stress test so far.
Alissa –
Took the woodpeckers a few days to figure out. They protect the suet cakes from the weather and Cowbirds!!! Perfect for my needs.
jonathan –
There is nothing that I dislike about the feeder, lots of birds are eating from it. I had an amazing guest, a pileated woodpecker, a female. it’s very easy to put suet in it and there’s enough room for two cakes
Pamela Robb –
Very sturdy and nice appearance. Blends in well. So far it seems less appealing to the squirrels than another suet feeder I have. The rounded edges and slick finish seem to put them off to find easier pickings – but they may eventually figure it out. The double space is very nice and performs well. Easy to load the suet. A good value for the money.
Amazon Customer –
I like it
A. Hennessey –
I really liked this. I bought 2 red ones. They came fully assembled and looked nice hanging from my tree. It was easy to add the suet and the birds quickly enjoyed it. That is until the squirrels got to it. They ate through the sides to pull away the wire bottom, in order to get to the suet I thought the feeder would be squirrel proof but it is not. I recommend hanging it from a pole, away from trees or where squirrels can get to.
