Whomever designed this knife had a clear plan and knew exactly how to achieve it. It fits in my hand exactly how I want a knife to fit in my hand. When the fist is fully closed all the knuckles line up perfectly. ChefKiss.gif
The hilt did have a couple sharp poky spots that I had to sand slightly, but other than that everything is as it should be. The weight is nice, and the blade is basically the size of my palm. The sheath is a thing of art. It holds the blade tightly, but lets it out when the correct tension is applied. Also the belt clip can be placed in so many different positions on the sheath that will allow you to get the perfect placement. Like I said the person that designed this package had a clear plan and executed it flawlessly. The edge is already super sharp out of the box.
I haven’t thrown it yet, but it feel like they had that in mind too when they designed it.
Ok the sheath does scuff up the blade a little when you pull it out and put if back in. Not a deal breaker by any means. I’m just trying to find something wrong with it so I’m not just blindly singing it’s praises. Though if you know knives and you hold this knife you are going to love it. I’m just saying.

When I got the package I was surprised by the colors and materials inside. I was a tad confused at the theme and figured they anticipate this item as a gift. There was confetti along with stickers inside the box, definitely geared towards gifting. All that being said it seems like a quality knife and has a decent edge out of the box. It is a fixed blade, meaning it does not fold up. In addition it is a full tang, which is something I look for in a knife. I like the color combination and the fact that this comes with a sheath. The jimping aka small serrations give you extra grip, less likely to slip out of your hands while using it. The sheath also gives a positive click and holds the item in place, the belt attachment is a nice touch. Overall it’s a solid value in my opinion, give it a try!

This is a perfect knife for everyday carry. It’s an overall light and concealable knife that you can keep on you. It has multiple jimping points which aid in providing a good solid grip. The canvas really helps in locking in the blade. Once you’ve got a grip it isn’t going any place! My version has nitro v which is tough and corrosion resistant which helps if you’re in a hot, damp environment. The blade came with a toothy sharpening job from the factory(which is easy to polish up) but at that it still sliced paper razor thin and shaved arm hair like it was nothing. The overall aesthetic of the knife is very appealing as well. I’d like a solid black version but I hear the canvas point will possibly be interchangeable in the future. I personally prefer all black blades and handles. The design of the knife blade and handle lend it to everyday cutting tasks, kitchen duty, possible self defense and light camp tasks. The gimping near the tip of the blade will aid in precise cutting tasks. Overall it’s a really nice knife and especially for the money. This is an absolute home run! If I had any complaint it would be that I prefer a guard/finger choil for forward slicing tasks. However, even with wet hands I don’t imagine your hand moving much if at all.
The sheath is well thought out and secure. You can easily change out for different style clip which I changed out for a J clip and a ranger band to keep secure in the waistband. I like the thumb push off point and a mark of a well designed sheath. Sheaths are just as important the knife is. This one is very minimal and allows for multiple carry styles.
Lastly, someone else docked a star for the packaging which is very silly. Any knife collector/user knows that these companies always put in stickers or merch. Honestly who even cares about packaging which you throw away.
I paid for my knife and received nothing free. I did, however, order a second knife in D2. I’ll update if that one is unlike this first one but I expect it to be of the same quality. Kizer is a well known and quality company and I’ve often enjoyed their designs. For the material quality and price you certainly get ABOVE what you pay for.

I really like this knife. It fits good in my hand and it has a good feel. The blade looks nice. It is a D2 steel. The sheath for it is more like a holster. With the way it attaches to the belt it sits high on my hip. I plan on carrying this in my cross-body bag so I wont mind the holster. Just something to consider if you plan on carrying this on your belt especially if you are a little big in the mid section like myself. My biggest complaint with this item is the packaging. I don’t know who they are marketing this to but it has a cartoony character on the front and stickers inside. There was also confetti inside. Wow… They should of just had a plain box and skip the stickers and confetti. I feel this is a good knife and will make a great addition to my edc bag.
