A permanent air filter. You must not over oil it after it has dried out from cleaning. If too much oil is sprayed on the filter you risk having oil on the Mass Flow Sensor which has a fine wire in it and can cause problems. The only solution is to use Mass Flow Sensor cleaner. Rewash the K & N filter let it dry thoroughly on the kitchen table and then go easy on re-oiling it. If oil drips from the filter then you have put too much oil on it.If you are fastidious about your air cleaner then clean the filter more often like once a year and go easy on re-oiling the filter. A great filter and lifetime guarantee.

Bought this filter for my wife’s 2021 Nissan Sentra, build quality is very nice and solid. I bet it will last a very long time. After installation I took the car for a drive and immediately I notice a slight increase in torque, can’t actually feel horsepower but it definitely felt an increase in performance. For the price it really is worth it.

Based on the reviews I made this purchase. It was very easy to install just looked at few videos online. It will interesting to see how it performs long run. I didn’t see a big difference in mileage though I used to get 40+ on my daily commute to work before I get about same now. Few people mentioned improved torque etc I don’t test torque in my car too much it’s a regular drive not race car. Overall a great product I think.
