Nicely packaged rubbish. Come with a warning note telling you that using it can cause damage to your instrument! I know they mean that this could happen over a period of time (and/or the manner in which you fit it – I wouldn’t use a hammer and nails if I were you :-). Don’t know if it actually works as – having followed the instructions to the letter – I’ve broken every nail on my left hand trying to open the compartment where the battery should fit; daren’t use my right hand as this is the one I need to play the very same guitar I had wanted to use this gizmo to tune!

I love this tuner. It’s fast and super accurate. I have been using a peterson studio grade stomp box tuner that is super accurate, but obviously a big hassle. This tuner stays on my guitar like the other cheap clip ons, but gives me the super accuracy of strobe tuning.
For years I used the Shark type tuners, and my guitar would never sound right. I was starting to think my guitar’s intonation was messed up and needed to be worked on by a luthier. Then I remembered I had the strobe tuner and tried that….HEAVEN. Perfect intonation. So then I started looking for a clip on version that wasn’t too expensive. This is it.
Some people seem to have a problem figuring out the strobe setting. It’s really simple once you understand what you are looking at. If the display is moving to the left, you are flat. If it’s moving to the right you are sharp. When the lines are stationary you are perfect.
It also folds up very nicely for travel.
People, spend a few bucks extra to get a good tuner. you will have a much happier life.
