Good for many configurations. It can be horizontal or vertical and holds the phone tight even at high speed. Excellent for my iPhone 11.

What can I say?! It’s an A+ item.
Having owned Motorcycles for twenty + years I’ve become well acquainted with Kuryakyn products. Typically well made, priced competitively.
But for the non-motorcyclists out there it’s important to point out this item can be used with RAM ball mounts.
My iPhone SE is in a ‘bullet-proof’ case which makes it larger than the phone really is so finding a ‘mounting’ solution was a trick. These mounts can open wide, they have a cushioned plate to cradle your phone, and when the sides are screwed in to grip the phone the grip is solid and unwavering!!
I’ve had two motorcycles I’ve used this mount on and never once worried about the phone disappearing on a ride!
Now (partnered with my RAM mounts) I use this Kuryakyn mount in my car (attached to the dash) on my Harley (handlebars) and even on a desktop!!
The grip is so solid I’ve even turned it sideways (sides screwed down tightly)😊👍

I bought this as a replacement for the one I bought over 5 year ago for my Harley. The sun’s heat and UV rays turned the paint dull and the rubber coating on the screw knobs got gummy and disintegrated.

Does what it say it will do, but seems a little flimsy holding my iPhone X. I will probably replace at some point due to the fear of losing my phone going down the road.

NOTE: You can not install this on a Cruiser bike without the handle bar attachment. Make sure you buy it with Kuryakyn 1671 Premium Han. Note that larger “Max” Phones barely fit into this holder

Bought this Kuryakyn 1693 on October 2022 and it broke down March 2024. I’ve used the holder less than 50 times so not impressed with the quality. Two horizontal black support bars got loose and one dropped while riding.

I have an IPhone 8 +. This holder is loose, flimsy and flexible. I can pull the phone right out of it when it is being held tight. It looks well made in the pictures but it is a big disappointment. I won’t trust using it. Kuryakyn used to be known for solid quality products – this one is not.

This is my second one. First one was years old and the knobs got sticky from sun. It’s a great phone holder. Just be sure you realize this doesn’t come with the handlebar clamp. It’s the phone holder only.
