We bought it because it said squirrel proof and that is what we were looking for but it only took the squirrels a few tries to figure out how to get to the seeds. That said I really like it,,,,very cute,,,,a nice addition to our back yard,,,,,the little birds love it and when the squirrel is not there it is always full of small colourful birds. Easy to refill and easy to hang. LOVE IT and so do the squirrels,,,,lol

This little feeder is so STINKIN cute, the finches and bluebirds in my yard love it! It was super easy to hang up and is sturdy when the birds land on it. The material in the cage is wide enough for sunflower seeds and mealworms to be pulled through, and there’s a bit of space between the cage and the plate at the bottom where larger bits of food (dried berries etc.) can be pulled out. I haven’t seen any squirrels try to get on there either. Can be a bit messy when filling but not a lot of spillage once full.

This is adorable and seems durable. It’s super easy to clean with a spray of the hose and it does seem to be squirrel proof. I watched a squirrel spend a few days attempting to figure out how to tackle it and he eventually gave up. It isn’t, however, chipmunk proof. Those little buggers are athletic. I watched one jump from the ground and land on the feeder which is about 5′ up on a shepherd’s hook. They can also crawl up the pole without an issue. He plants himself on it and fills up. Hopefully he’ll be too chonky soon with all the face stuffing he’s doing to make the leap and the birds will get a bit more to snack on. Anyhow, it’s cute and I recommend it and it is bringing more birds to the yard and chipmunks need to eat too.
