I’ve been using this toner for a little over a year now. I found it at my local drugstore when they were sold out of the brand I was looking for. I was so surprised and excited to find out that I loved it even more than what I had been using! It leaves me with a very thorough clean. How clean? I’m so glad you asked! In order to test it’s efficiency, I tried removing my makeup with a high-end brand cleansing towelette and then, after a few minutes, I ran a cotton ball with HydraFresh toner over the same area. I was surprised to find makeup remnants that the towelette did not get! Luckily, this toner took care of it.
On top of the great clean it gives me, it is not at all drying; my skin was super soft and tingly after use. Absolutely soothing for my VERY sensitive skin. Honestly, it’s hard for me to find products that work this well without some kind of reaction so when I do find one, I will use it non-stop. That’s why I’m happy it’s available here on Amazon for subscription, and for a few dollars cheaper than in the store.

As a woman of a certain age demographic I was taught very early to take good care of my skin. My late mother always used #Dove bar soap for her face and a good moisturizer. With me I have a ritual that I adhere to religiously. Aging is a fact of life unless you die before 21 years of age? For years I would use #Lancome skin toners .. Then a few years back.. I decided to try L’OREAL toners. I like them and I don’t have issues with my skin. I bought this item from the big A and not a local drug store. Normally I prefer to buy in person. First of all I my bottle isn’t similar to the vendors photo. I uploaded a current photo that arrived at my address. Second my bottle had no safety cap like , to prevent tampering? I used some of the contents yesterday and Saturday. No problems with the toner . .. I am happy 😊 with my purchase..

L’Oreal Paris’ line of beauty products is my “go to” because they do not test on animals, have a wide variety of cleansers, masks, toners, face creams, shampoos, makeups for skin and eyes, nail polishes, hair coloring products for all ages. All appropriate for my sensitive aging skin. It is the only company I will buy from due to its lack of additives and preservatives, testing thoroughly for results that can be counted on to be consistent time after time.

I like a clean, but not overly-drying feeling.
FYI, my skin felt BETTER and SMOOTHER after rinsing this OFF!
CONS:
CLEAN-FEELING – my face doesn’t feel refreshed or cleaner
MOISTURIZING – Don’t feel any moisturizing feeling.
SMOOTHNESS – Skin doesn’t feel smoother. In fact, my skin felt a bit IRRITATED after using.
SCENT – WAY TOO PERFUMEY – I could be ok with that as it dissipates pretty quickly if the above weren’t such negatives.
PACKAGING – OK, SERIOUSLY? NO seal, no nada on this. Just opened the lid. In this day and age, not sure WHY manufacturers don’t SEAL. I don’t think this is an issue with getting from Amazon, I think this just isn’t sealed by L’Oreal.
I KNOW everyone’s skin is DIFFERENT. Different products work for different people. I’m almost 70, sensitive skin, not overly-dry. Combination skin.
BOTTOMLINE: I usually like many of L’Oreal’s products, but this is a HARD PASS. This is like perfumed water to me. I only ordered because NEUTROGENA toner in blue bottle wasn’t available. Going back to that.

I’ve used this toner for years, so I’m fairly familiar with the formulation and bottle. I’ve been staying away from in-store shopping for obvious reasons, so I decided to order it here, and ma’am I’m confused?? I’m so confused. That’s it, I’m just confused.
I’m not really mad about it cuz it’s still a pretty great product, it just isn’t the ones in the pictures that I saw. I was thinking that maybe they just switched containers, but the formulation feels a little different too. I don’t know if I’m just imagining things, but I still have leftover toner juice from my last bottle, and they definitely felt different to me when I kept testing them back and forth. Again, this is still a great product as far as I’m aware, I’m just mildly confused?? Would still recommend though!
