It also features a detachable USB cable for added convenience.

Charles Platt –
Louder than I was hoping. Keys are too easily pressed, making accidental key presses too frequent unless very careful. Key pressing is more sensitive than any other keyboard I’ve used. Lighting is good with many different lighting profiles to choose from. Keycap quality seems high. Overall, not a bad keyboard for the price. Wish it was a bit quieter.

I wanted a keyboard for travel with a pad. I’m super-fussy about keyboards because I write for a living. I wanted the smallest possible keyboard with a mechanical touch. (I really hate laptop-style keyboards with no “feel”.) This is it. The keys are full size, so don’t be confused by the “60% size” product description–that just refers to the overall footprint. The space-saving design omits F1 through F12 keys but you can get them by pressing the Fn key with keys 1 through 0 , -, and =. The tab, caps lock, shift keys, and enter keys are normally sized; there is no compromise there. The enter, backslash, and backspace keys are also full size. The cursor keys are well placed. The one compromise is they omitted Home and End keys, but PgUp, PgDn, Ins, and Del are all there.
Backlight is activated by pressing Fn with cursor-up or cursor-down. There are four levels of brightness (plus you can switch it off), and you can also activate some entertaining lighting effects which I found unnecessary.
My one complaint is that the keyboard is a little bit heavy for traveling. But the size is perfect and the key touch is just perfect.
This keyboard has received some negative views which I find confusing. A couple reviewers complain that the keyboard has an auto-off feature, but mine doesn’t have that; it stays on. A reviewer complained about poor manufacturing finish, but the finish on my keyboard here is excellent.
I hardly ever give 5 stars to anything, but this keyboard deserves it.

ย It’s just good . Worth for buying. Looks and sounds better in person
Funky Monk –
Great keyboard for gaming, It comes with extra light up features and they’re definitely above and beyond for a $30 keyboard. It connects through a USB C cable, so no battery life. The keys are loud because it’s a mechanical keyboard. Typing feels very comfortable. The color I chose wasn’t what I expected; however I’m still very satisfied with my order and would highly recommend as a great budget keyboard.
Funky Monk –
As you would expect for a cheap mechanical keyboard, it doesn’t meet the quality someone would probably want. It is really clicky but not in a good way. It like a cheap rattling, hollow click that is very annoying for long term use. Then, the backlight only turns like a cyan color. I know it’s cheap but how expensive could adding full RGB lights be? Next, the keycaps are low quality, they wiggle a little bit as well as feel really thin and plasticky. I wouldn’t really recommend it since there are better budget options, but fine if you really like the style.

I recently purchased the MageGee Portable 60% Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, and overall, I’m quite satisfied with its performance.
Firstly, the compact design of this keyboard is a significant selling point. The 60% form factor means it takes up minimal space on my desk, making it perfect for gaming setups with limited room or for on-the-go use. Despite its small size, the keys feel sturdy and responsive, providing a satisfying typing and gaming experience.
The mechanical switches offer a nice tactile feedback, enhancing the overall typing experience. However, it’s worth noting that the sound level might be a bit louder than some users prefer, especially in quieter environments.
The LED backlighting is a nice touch, providing customizable lighting effects to match your gaming setup or personal preferences. The brightness levels are adjustable, allowing for comfortable use in various lighting conditions.
In terms of compatibility, the MageGee Portable 60% Mechanical Gaming Keyboard works well with the Xbox Series X.
Overall, the MageGee Portable 60% Mechanical Gaming Keyboard offers solid performance in a compact package. While it may not have all the bells and whistles of more expensive keyboards, it delivers a satisfying typing and gaming experience at a reasonable price point.

ย The keyboard looks good, keys have feedback and are smooth. All keys are functional, including the ~ and `. I replaced some black keys with the orange keys that came along, it improved the looks much. Long term durability will make this purchase epic.
Now the keys are obtrusive, no light passes through, and personally I don’t care about it. Overall, I am satisfied with this cozy keyboard. I just hope it lasts long.
——–Update—————————————————–
The ‘E’ key malfunctioned within 3 days. I have asked for a replacement, and I am very sceptical of the electronics quality of this keyboard. This keyboard has got the look and feel, but what good is it if the keys don’t work!

Received replacement keyboard. It is working great at the moment and fingers crossed!

Bought this for my home PC. I got the one with blue switches. Good build quality. And good clickety clack audible and tactile feedback. Great value for the price.
I have since matched it to a standalone number pad with blue switches. The combo is brilliant!

Keyboard is well made and seems durable, only had it a few days so durability is projected. It may not be obvious to all, but you get and extra 13 keycaps Mine were red, I think all are but haven’t purchased other options. Very easy to change the keycaps with included tool. Wife thinks it is loud with the blue keys, but I don’t notice it. I think the sound of the keys is expected with this type of keyboard. This is a 60% percent, it is small and takes up very little room on the desk.(60% right?). Compared to a full size keyboard it looks tiny, but during normal typing I don’t feel anything is amiss. I don’t use the separate numpad and function keys found on larger keyboards very often. I like it and for the price it is difficult to find fault with this keyboard. I’d recommended it as an inexpensive way to see if the percent TKL keyboards are for you. (TKL sounds like saying something is sugarless, marketing is making a point of it missing something that would be normally found)

It’s small, so it’s portable. Works well. Nice and clicky! Backlight only comes in one color, but you can adjust the brightness and pattern it appears in. Came with spare key caps. Only complaint is that the kickstands are slightly uneven so it wobbles while I’m typing at times. Overall, it’s a nice gaming keyboard for the price.
