MAYBELLINE Super Stay Vinyl Ink Lipcolor

I have been a lipstick junkie my whole life. I had permanent lip liner that faded eventually and have tried at least two dozen “long wear” lipsticks, liners, gels etc. of all ingredients, colors and expense. This lipstick and the color I bought which is Coy is by leaps and bounds the best product ever for long wear!! It just stays on. I am going to order several to have on hand in case they decide to discontinue someday. If you are on the fence..buy it, you will be super happy. The texture is a bit sticky feeling, but you will get used to it. The color is just perfect.

I ordered the color “charmed” which appears to be a lovely soft pink on my screen. However, the product I received looks more like their color “punchy” or “cheeky” instead. Yes, I shook the product before applying, and I tried layering it, but the color remained brown rather than pink. Also, it is not glossy. It’s matte. I have the Patrick Ta lip gloss and will stick with it instead. It’s pricier, but it stays on all day and is glossy. It does come off on my glassware, but it washes off them easily.

Shake approximately 30 secs before usage, try not to smack lips immediately after as it dries down and can break the gloss as much. These are easier to remove than the super stay Maybelline lipsticks, glosser makes it easier to hide any driesness less prone to falling off through usage of the day. But just like the old ones- Heat is definitely what often causes it to transfer, generally doesn’t get rid of it but when I drink coffee generally the worst transfer on the cup you get of anything else you will drink- and likewise: oil is the easiest way to remove it (oil based cleansing balm or petroleum jelly). Now. This one removes easier than the super stay, matte ones. But still will stay on extremely well- except heat or oily food. Makes sense though, because of the way you remove them. So I often carry it with me to touch up after eating if out. Seems worse if eating out, probably as more oils are used. Pinks neutrals wear better than red, but that is also normal, red is always a more high maintenance color.

I like these though, because it makes red a less high maintenance color and I really hate having to constantly touch up lipsticks drives me insane. These are some of my favorite on the market for wearablity. Much better than the Revlon ones I have tried or nyx’s. Just make sure when you do reapply with all vinyls- you have to reshake it for approx 30 seconds. It is to mix the product with the gloss or something but definitely otherwise likes to slide more if you don’t.

slightly drying after it dries down. you must shake it before you apply it. slightly sticky while it is drying down. i like the fact that it has just the right amount of shine but that eventually wears off if you drink or eat during the daytime,and most of us do! it is not a bad product, its just not “perfect” product. i would have one of your favorite or go to color in your makeup kit. and the price is good for this product.

Unbelievable!!! The color is exactly as pictured, yes it’s sticky when you first apply it and you should wait about a minute before doing anything with your lips- fan it dry even. But once it’s on it’s NOT BUDGING. I ate dinner, w drank hot tea, water, slept in it, my morning iced coffee, breakfast and it’s still going strong. 💪 if you want something with beautiful color and lasts forever. O smudging this is it. Obviously start with clean dry wzfoliayes lips for best results. Tbh I hadn’t even done this and it’s still looking great. This isn’t moisturizing but it also doesn’t leave my lips overly dry. I feel like I could smooch 💋 all night and it would transfer or smudge. Would look great with a gloss and liner but is still amazing alone. Highly recommend.
