Works as described but not super loud. If placed under a motorcycle seat or under the tank, it’s audible but range is shorter than desired, ~100ft before it becomes background noise.

I used these to secure a Penske moving truck when parking it overnight. I would put one of these in each door of the truck. You put it in the door, close and lock the door, and then arm the alarm from the outside with the remote. I left it to it’s default (highest) setting. Just as much as touching the door handle on the outside of the truck, would activate the alarm. The alarm doesn’t sound right away, it gives some kind of warning sound, to let you know that it’s on to you. If you keep doing what you are doing, the alarm will sound.
That said, it’s not loud enough to wake you up in your hotel room, but I hoped it would be loud enough the deter anybody trying to break in. Now, since I never heard if go off and our truck was not broken into, I don’t know if the alarm actually worked and scared somebody away, or if nobody attempted to break in to begin with.
All in all, these alarms were just 1 aspect of all the measures I took to secure the truck, and these alarms definitely gave me some extra piece of mind at night.

Bin auf diese gestoßen und habe mich aufgrund der positiven Bewertungen dafür entschieden. Sie kamen schon am nächsten Tag und wir konnten sie jeder an seinem Motorrad montieren. Die Fernbedienung hat auch eine ausreichende Entfernung. Ich wohne im 6. OG und sie reicht locker aus. Somit konnten wir dann beruhigt verreisen. Absolute Empfehlung, schon der Preis ist unschlagbar.

I personally think my way of installation for bicycles is best:
1) put an alarm to the desired location (for me it was the stem of my bike frame)
2) install zip ties in the top and lower loop, then put 3 more over the alarm
3) tape over the entirety of the alarm with zip ties underneath, and leave the main tip empty to avoid any radar loss
4) Now your item is protected with a “hidden” alarm, this will result in thieves spending more time looking to cut the alarm and lower their chances of successfully stealing your item
Moreover, I don’t know how long the battery will last but it’s been 3 months, and still good. You can change it as well if it dies. This product also includes an SOS alarm when the item is dropped, but I didn’t bother with this since the calibration is a bit iffy, and not many people would touch an item if it made a ringing noise.

I was a little skeptical about ordering this Alarm being that it is inexpensive. But after ten minutes of installing it with zip ties under the seat of my very expensive folding travel scooter all doubt was replaced with true joy! This alarm works fantastic, the remote transmits from a LONG distance and the alarm sound is incredibly LOUD, and very sensitive on the highest sensitivity setting. (see my video) You can turn down the sensitivity setting, it has settings between 1-7 for sensitivity. I also was happy to find that the alarm was very consistant. I armed it 10 times and then “wiggled” and bumped the scooter and each time the alarm triggered.
This alarm will give me piece of mind when I leave my scooter unattended, like on a sidewalk outside a shop or store that I cannot get into while riding it. Before I always had to keep an eye out for the scooter and worried someone would take it. (It weighs less than 50 lbs.) The only negative is that the zip ties included are “brittle” and one broke when tightening it, so I chose to use better quality ones that I had in the garage.
It is so refreshing to find a product that “does what is say it does.” especially since it is inexpensive and made in China.

I bought this to hopefully deter someone from stealing the catalytic converter from my prius. I put it under the hood so the sound will be piercing, but in a place where the thief wouldn’t be able to find it. Pros: it’s very loud and cheap. Cons: It’s very sensitive and gets set off almost every time a trash truck drives by. I’m sure it annoys my neighbors when it goes off, but I don’t care. I mainly have it to deter someone who doesn’t want an alarm blaring at 3am while they are up to no good.

it needs to be used unenclosed, outside whatever it is protecting. if it is touched it makes a hell of a racket. Stick one on your laptop, if you like to leave it on the table when you go to the barista for a refill. Put one on your bike when you park it outside by the door.
It goes off briefly if the item is touched, and non stop if it is touched again. You turn it on or off with a remote. All it does is make a racket and you have to be there to hear it and react to the disturbance. For the money it is somewhat useful. But if your item gets carried off while bleating it’s head off at 120 DbA, you’re out of luck. if you put a lojack on it also, located someplace not obvious, that might be a great way to trace it and retrieve it if the thief stops looking for alarm components after removing the noisy one.
