The gun doesn’t actually work. You have to load the balls one at a time and they tend to get stuck. If you can unstick them they will fly a distance but frankly it is much easier to just throw the balls to my cat than use the gun. That said, it came with a lot of them and she has a good time with them and even if she’s not in the mood and they hit her in the face because she’s ignoring me, they don’t hurt her. I think you could probably get the same number or more of these pom poms from craft supply category and save the money on the gun for a better value. 3 stars for having fun with my cat, two removed for a less than useful shooter.

I have 14 cats and they absolutely loved this. The pompom gun shoots high and far. The cats ran all over the place jumping over each other to see who could get to the pompom first. It keeps them very entertained. The gun is cheaply made but for the price and not having any issues with it what so ever, it was a great buy. The cats have lost some of the pompoms, so I am looking for a refill. I would definitely but this again because they love it! Thanks for a good product and making my cats happy.

Works just as described. The gun is lightweight plastic, probably won’t last forever but it keeps our most energetic cat busy. Very easy to use. The balls are good quality, not fraying or coming apart. Makes a pop but hasn’t spooked any cats here. Would buy again.

These balls are my cats favorite over their other toys. The balls are soft and when they capture them they carry them around. Even sitting on the floor the cats engage with them and bat them around. Shot from the gun it’s fun to see them go running after them. No more bored cats!

It does have some punch so avoid hitting the cat.
We were playing around. The cat especially likes bouncing the balls off the wall, off the furniture, and rolling on the floor. His favorite.
The balls are colorful. The livingroom looks like a playroom after we are done.
I pick up his toys, and when ready the next day for play he goes right over to his toy box.
I will say I was shooting for his cardboard box he likes, he has two, the ball hit him on the nose and that had to hurt. He forgave me, after a day or two.I am a better aim now and he pays attention to where I point it.
After a long game chasing mousies, snakes, and tunnel, I shoot these balls around the room, and when done he knows we are done. He is aware when all the balls are out of the clear plastic bag. It is a good way to settle him down.
If that doesn’t work, I put on cat calming music video so he can watch tv.

It is very cute! lots of balls but the gun thing is cheap, gets stuck and jammed basically every other time … it’s more reliable to just throw the pom poms

My new kitten loves to play fetch, so this is a great toy. For the price paid I think I got my monies worth but it is a flimsy. My issue is with the plunger. I am waiting for it to break.
The balls actually fly a pretty good distance and I don’t think the balls are too small.

Great pack of toys. I got the one with the puff balls and puff ball shooter gun. It took a little to get used to it but the kitties absolutely love it and it comes with a nice number of balls. Even without the shooter the cats run around like crazy just batting the balls around. The wands are as expected with lots of attachments.
PS for the shooter you want to pull the trigger piece back until it clicks into place. Then you want to *gently* push a puff ball in, don’t push it in too much or it will not shoot properly and get stuck. Just push it in enough that it doesn’t fall out on its own.
