This kit comes with only basic instructions, but there’s not a lot to it. I used the smallest of the three wire strippers to strip the insulation off 12 ga. house wire. It relatively easily stripped 1″ of insulation. I’m not sure that loading this into a hand drill and using it took less time/effort than a regular wire stripper, but it did work and consistently stripped 1″ off (you could strip less length if you wanted, but not really any more). I suppose if you were stripping wires all day this might save you some time. I suspect that the mid-size stripper is for 10 ga. wire. The largest stripper must be for some pretty heavy duty wire that I will likely never encounter. The twister tool was completely ineffective. It is made of plastic and would not twist three 12 ga. wires together no matter how I tried. All I accomplished was chewing up the inside of the twister tool. Maybe this twister is made for larger gauge wires, but I could not get it to grab the three 12 ga. wires and twist them.

I was excited to get these wire strippers. I was in the middle of a project where I needed to strip quite a few wires. I was stripping 12-2. The first one I did was perfect, so I decided to make a video of the next one. Unfortunately, it never worked well again. I cleaned out the device but ended up with the same bad results. However, I can report that I love the wire nut twisting tool. It works perfectly.

AWESOME electrical wire stripper kit.This kit is a time saver.All you need is a drill, battery or corded. It has different size for different gauge wire,just screw it on the chuck and put the wire in and spin the drill and in a second or two your wire is stripped to the copper and right size length and super clean,no more using pliers or utility knife and actually cutting into the copper.Its that fast,great for doing work at home or job.This kit comes with everything you need including a nice plastic case with foam inside to keep the 4 dye cutters and chuck.I wish I would of known about this tool kit sooner,it would of saved me so much time.Awesome high quality electrical wire stripper kit.Grab one,you will like it a lot!

I tried all the different bits with the corresponding wire size. Either it didn’t cut or just barely grabbed anything. Not worth the hassle, save your money. Total garbage.

You can’t strip wires much easier than this. The thing I like is that you can set the depth and so all of your stripped wires are uniform. The plastic wire/wire nut twister works, but I wonder about its long-term durability. We shall see. I’m just a regular homeowner, not a professional contractor, so they’ll probably be fine for my use.

When needing to strip out a bunch of solid wires this thing works great. Easy to change out with an impact drill. I don’t know if carrying a drill around for only a couple of wires would make sense. But if you are working on a new install or working on multiple circuits to land this thing would be something I would be using. I just don’t see it being an everyday tool unless you are always working wiring things up.
