I like this bed, fits perfect in the crate. It’s easy to clean and dry (my dogs are very active and dirty on a regular basis) therefore cleaning of the bed was very important! I would not say it’s chew proof as it’s still soft but this is not an issue in our household. Mainly I wanted something soft and comfortable to put in the crate for them to sleep in. It is not thick, so I also give my dogs some blankets but overall would buy again.

The bed has enough padding and the ‘bumper pads’ along the sides provide comfort against the wire of the dog crate. The pad fits in all corners. Very comfy for my 2 toy poodles!!

Really, really easy to clean. It does not have a removable, washing machine cover—rather it boasts a well-made sturdy outdoor water hose-able surface, which is our preference. I don’t have a giant washer, so that’s not even an option for us. This bed may work well in a machine, and I’d drop it at the laundromat if it needs it in the future. We have two Border Heelers—mixed Border Collie and Blue Heeler. Beautiful and amazing dogs. Also stronger than 90% of dogs, or 110% more stubborn. They have limitless tenacity. We have a place they love to go under our brick house—maybe it was used for wood storage accessed from outside, but it is perfect to keep them safe if a storm pops up while we are away. Our boy kept growing, and I heard him whimper crawling out of that hole…so we rolled the rock back over it to save him from arthritis and hip problems. Our girl is the perfect little size, but she loses the space as well. In order to feel secure, apparently, they literally bulldozed our pool fence—we have just invested $3,500 for a fence company to come out and install a higher quality fence. They dig 3 feet holes in the yard—they try to dig and tunnel under our sidewalk. Yes, we have working farm dogs on a regular property. We rescued the mother dog by keeping her when she showed up in terrible condition at our house ready to deliver 6 puppies. My husband fell in love with her—and I loved one of her boy puppies (hence the set of dogs). They are in a PetSafe invisible fence during the day out in the yard, and they are crate-loving babies who come in every night around dark. It was a gamble—and I’m glad I took it. They destroyed all blankets, but I can’t stand them in the crates with nothing. These are 100x better than nothing. They repel hair, water, and smell. They wash perfectly with the water hose and dry quickly. I use the pet hair sweeper over it, and all of that Collie hair practically jumps off of this bed. I could not recommend it more. I don’t think of our dogs as destructive chewers—but our boy would almost eat a woven blanket. The beds do not have any snags or parts that look good to chew on, which has been absolutely perfect. We couldn’t be more satisfied. Perfect fit for the crate. Also I really appreciate the loops for hanging on the back. No more draping over pool chairs!!
We have been using two of them for about a month—will update in ) months. 100% recommend you giving this a chance! It’s always a gamble, and every dog is different. Oh, and our big boy dog comes in wet if he decides to take a dip in the pool—again, we are waiting on the fence company. The bed repels his dog + wet dog smell. They work perfectly for us!!

seul coussin que mon chien n’a pas réussi à détruire

I’ve tried countless beds for my dog and she ALWAYS ends up tearing them up. She is a mix of German shepherd, lab, and Belgian Malinois, so she is a heavy chewer. This bed has lasted the longest and is still going strong (knock on wood). It’s also very easy to clean which is a plus! I would definitely recommend.

This mat fit perfect in our extra large crate!
It is soft enough without being too soft.
And it’s easy to clean. I would buy another one

This was a bed for my great pyr husky mix’s kennel, fits great! Hard to find a kennel bed in 48″ that isn’t a million dollars. Love the extra cushion in the sides, that being said this dog bed isn’t meant to be super fluffy, there isn’t a lot of padding in the bottom, enough to be comfortable. Which, between that and the fabric, is perfect for our puppy because she sleeps hot, and this dog bed won’t keep her too hot but gives her cushion. The fabric itself though is a little noisey in the night when she moved around, we just through a sheet over top to silence it.
The part that was disappointing was being able to wash it, part of the reason I got it, pups get sick and can’t help but make a mess sometimes. She had diarrhea while we were out and needed to clean the bed in the washing machine, the washing machine ripped the delicate underside of the bed, the instructions say to wash in a machine without an agitator, most washing machines do (maybe not the new fancy ones?) And there is no way to get the agitator out, so technically I wouldn’t consider this machine washable if you are required to have a certain type of machine, and no where on the site does it say that, don’t get to find that out until it’s too late. Guess I’ll just have to duct tape it and hope she never had another accident? Sigh, really liked this dog bed besides the noise (easy fix) and not being able to actually wash it without buying a new washing machine.

My dog was able to chew through the “tough” layer on top in a matter of minutes. I bought this specifically for durability but it obviously didn’t hold up to those expectations. Shame

I got a second one of these after some time with the first one I bought proved that this was a great option for my dog needs. The dogs like them and seem to prefer this mat over some of the fluffier/cushier options they have to choose from. But big points for fulfilling its functional purposes perfectly at a reasonable cost. They can go in washing machine and dryer and there’s no hassle of having to fight with tight zipper and weird / cheap design features that if a dog pees on it. They’ve also held up against my power chewer who does enjoy deconstructing items and previously had to go without a crate mat. Now everybody’s happy.

I have a heavy chewer/digger Shepherd. Ordered this bed, it looks GREAT. The material on the top was extremely durable looking. Digging on the top side of the bed worked fine. Since no holes opened, no chewing occured. The problem hit when they managed to flip over an edge. Once the bottom is exposed, it is game over for this bed. I understand they went with a non-slip bottom. That makes sense. It makes it stay in place on wood floors/linoleum/etc. But they went with EXTREMELY THIN non-slip bottom (to save money, perhaps?) and once your dog gets to that, the bed is done.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE redesign this bed with a stronger bottom material.

This bed fits perfectly in the crate and is easy to clean. What I also love is that it isn’t too hot for my dog but comfortable.
