Not very warm on a cold day! Very light weight and the sole is very sturdy! Very nice shoe.

I had bought some cheap walmart shoes for a new job. And they were killing my feet. And a co-worker had bought a pair of these and recommended them. And wow, I used to love going barefoot. And this is the next best thing imho. I’m on my feet 8-10 hours a day. And my feet don’t hurt at all. Its been about 3 days, and after I suffered for nearly 3 weeks with my old shoes.

First up I get why some will call these water shoes as they are very basic like those shoes. But having owned other zero drop shoes that were also minimalist in design these are not much different and a fraction of the cost. Wish they didn’t try to make each toe look like a toe though as it makes them look more goofy than needed.
I bought 11 because my normal size is 10.5 and that was not an option. The 11 is a smidge big so I think these are fairly accurate for size.
So far find these are comfortable and easy to take on and off. The shoe lace seems almost over kill. I only need to adjust the velcro and not untie them but this may be due to them being slightly larger than my foot.
I bought these hoping they would help strengthen my foot to help over come plantar faciatis. The pain has reduced a bit in the 3 days I have worn them. Will update if they really help (been suffering for a bit over 1 month as of now).
Nothing bad to report, if you want to try an open toe design with zero drop these are a great affordable option.

I typically have to search for around and tryon many 12’s to find a true American 12 size or go with a 13 because most import shoes are all over the place in sizing and don’t have a 12.5. I purchased the 12.5 and they fit very well with a slight amount of room for medium weight bamboo socks. Im sure I could fit a size 12 with a light sock. If I were going without socks, I’d probably opt for the 12. They are affordable enough I could get a second pair to try. Basically for me unless you order custom shoes or get your hands on an old American made set of Red Wings good luck finding the size on the shelf that fits me. I have a size C width foot that is long and these are stretchy enough to grip my foot around the meta tarsal area, without being loose or unstable, yet have that wide toe box that feels quite spacious without feeling sloppy. I live in Washington where is is cold most days so having a pair of shoes that fit with my favorite medium weight bamboo socks is perfect for me. They may be stretchy enough to get a light wool sock in them but haven’t tried. Prior to this the only other true 12 to 12.5 I have recently found have been the Georgia US made boots, not their out of country sizes. The US are are marked as such and cost an extra $100. I also wear the US made Danners in 12 (because the factory is not far) unless they are steel toe, then 13 is the size and the US made New Balance in 12 their overseas manufactured in a 13 and what used to be the Italian made Vasque Sundowners in 13, because they run small. Hopefully all this information helps another size 12+ like me make a decision on which size. I only gave them a 4 stars because the laces are a little weird but they may lay flatter once used. They are a round lace style and I think an oval lace would suit the shoe better. The velcro strap is pretty much like any other velcro strap and functions well. The velcro is very sticky and does not seem to slip apart. The sole is grippy, not overly hard and slippery. I walked around on some wet pavement and some painted wooden deck surfaces and they felt stable. The arch support seems very adequate.

I tried 3 different barefoot shoes from Amazon.
These are the $25 MIFAWA (LIGHT GREY).
As you can see the are nearly identical to the $36 Grand Attacks. Both these have the aesthetic “toe” bumps on the outside front which have no function because it’s just the rubber. The insides have no indentations at all.
These have regular laces and the Grand Attacks have speed laces and the shoes are a bit more solid. But just a bit.
They have a thinner sole and material and thus more flexible.
The part around the ankle is very loose in on my foot.
The other shoe is the Whitin at $42

Use shoes around the house and backyard and at the gym while stretching and weight training. Shoes are comfy, lite, supportive, slip resistant, well made and good price.

I replace the insole with a better one and these shoes become incredibly comfortable. My feet and back love them.

These shoes are fantastic! They offer great comfort and a natural feel, perfect for those who prefer a minimalist approach. The zero-drop design provides excellent stability and support, and the fit is just right. They’re also stylish and versatile, making them suitable for various activities. I’m very pleased with the purchase and would recommend them to anyone looking for high-quality, comfortable footwear.

I bought a pair of white to try it out when it went on sale at $39. They fit perfectly in my usual shoe size. They are so comfy and secure when I wear them in the gym. Perfectly when I was doing squats and RDLs, but not for running at least for me, even on the treadmill. Perhaps my feet aren’t that tough yet. They also look good in my opinion, so I bought 2 more pairs, black and grey. Hopefully, they will last at least a few years each. Too bad they don’t have the right size for my mom.

For the price these are a nice set of light duty gym/outdoor shoes. I wouldn’t wear them for multiple mile rugged terrain adventures. But so far I’ve with them on light gravel path runs and hikes. I’ve also participated in some gym cardio and weight training trips. They fit well. I like the Velcro closure for easy on and off. The laces also make them a good fit. My only complaint would be the width. I have wide feet and these are almost too wide for my feet. If you prefer a narrow your box, then these aren’t for you. I even ordered a half size small and they seem loose. Over time they are starting to fit more comfortably.

I have several problems which make me wear out shoes quickly and cause all sorts of pain through my legs, knees and back. I usually walk very oddly, as I have a lot of pain. When I first got these, they felt very small and until they were worn in, they caused pain in my feet.
Now, I can walk and run normally, without pain. It normally takes me a month to completely wear out the insoles of a pair of shoes, with my odd feet.
I bought half a size larger to see if they would be more comfortable, but they are not. Just wear your normal size until they wear in, which does take a little bit.

I am glad I read other reviews and bought the next size up. They are comfortable and work well for my gym training sessions. I wouldn’t use them for walking, but that is not what i bought them for anyway.
