I loved this item immediately when unboxing it. The tooling is beautiful and the quality of the material was excellent. The color was true to the pictures. The pockets are sturdy and ample for the items that I carry. Very good value!

I typically don’t leave reviews unless really warranted, and in this case one is due. This purse had great potential based on the listing pictures/title/description/feedback, but in the end it’s left a sour taste in my mouth. It’s actually the second time I’ve ordered it as I reeeeealllly wanted to love it but unfortunately both transactions were less than stellar. The updated listing including additional items and Prime Day sale pricing is what convinced me to give it another try. Both times I ordered, the purse arrived in a very thin plastic bag (no shipping box or bag). The type of thin plastic you’d expect to see when opening a box of wholesale items, but absolutely NOT for shipping. It had two tiny pieces of tape holding the plastic together, and there were large gaps leaving the purse totally exposed to the dirt and grime associated with shipping. It was like buying them at a garage sale – certainly not brand new. The return address on the shipping label is directly to the sellers “boutique”, and as the plastic was factory printed with the name Trinity Ranch, I do believe it shipped directly from them. The first one arrived damaged with a large scrape/scratch on the tooling and a fold in the fake leather among other issues so I returned it. Somewhere in the wording it stated I was buying from and/or supporting small business, but clearly this small business has zero pride in ownership. More like buy cheap from overseas, put an absurd price on it and fling it into a shipping truck with zero customer service on the back end. Communications with the seller are difficult at best, and my concerns were brushed aside without remorse. My most recent purchase was advertised as having a detatchable holster, but it DOES NOT. It’s even mentioned by other buyers as having one, so I was really bummed when it arrived without it. I contacted the seller and they proudly confirmed it doesn’t come with one despite the listing description. (Such a scam move!). Both the purse and wallet have an offputting chemical smell, and airing them out isn’t helping. Between the crummy packaging, missing items and the smell it just seems “cheap”. The straps are long and very slippery so they slide right off your shoulder. You either have to carry it by the handles (which are too long this way) or awkwardly hug it against your side with the handles slumped over if you want to carry it from your shoulders. Neither is useful or safe for concealed carry nor is it comfortable to use in general. It is a pretty purse from a distance, but up close it’s obvious it’s not leather and I’m concerned about it’s durability. The four metal feet on the bottom are overkill in size – they are really tall and pointy. And sadly, the purse does not stand up on it’s own when you put anything in it. The wallet has two buttons for closure, but you really have to fuss with it to get it to snap shut and the top flap is crooked when closed. When you put your credit cards into the slots they are ridiculously difficult to remove. To the point I’m afraid I will break a card because you have to bend them to get a grip and pull them out. It takes some serious gymnastics to use the wallet, and I don’t forsee it being made well enough to withstand it. It has a zippered coin area and the zipper pull is so wide it impedes on the ability to snap the wallet closed unless you manually make sure it’s perfectly tucked in prior to closure. Imagine trying to do all this while standing in a busy grocery store check out line! It’s a very small wallet with limited card slots and the size of the purse dwarfs it in comparison. Overall, this purse/wallet combo is not worth the price paid (especially without the advertised holster). This brand professes to represent American Western culture and has done a great job stirring up a buying frenzy of their products. But in the end, nothing beats made in the USA and I’ll shop accordingly next time.

I ordered this purse for conceal carry, really not expecting top quality and it is by far the best quality made purse I’ve ever owned and I’ve had some high end purses. You can smell the thick leather as soon as you pull it out of the dust cover bag, also provided. As far as carry, it could easily fit a 45, but my 9 fits nicely with room to spare.
