I own a small business and have been using some optiplex systems for day to day functions. Unfortunate I’ve had nothing but trouble with them as of late and decided it was time to get something new.
I ran into this system after doing some research and was surprised because I had bought a MSI gaming pc fit my kid last year. He loves that thing so I said why not and ordered one of these little guys to test. Let me tell you it was one of the best decisions I’ve made this year!
Upon opening it I had no clue it was going to be THIS small, even smaller than a water bottle and about a third of the size of my optiplex.
It booted up fast as lighting and was super easy to set up and tuck away which I love because it makes my desk look more professional.
It is currently doing the work of two of my old optiplex desktops without a hitch. Can’t get over how powerful this thing is while being so tiny. Will definitely pick more up and recommend it to others!

I had previously bought a used NUC7i5bnh and was very annoyed with the sound of its fan. I replaced it with two different fans and both were loud. I ended up seeing this unit on sale and I have to say I’ve very happy with it. I like the fact that it has a full sized fan and that fan is pretty much silent. I like the simplicity of this computer. I have added two 2.5″ sata ssd to it (just because I enjoy that kind of thing). I think the case is fun to work with. I find that the computer is very responsive to basic web browsing and light gaming (Skyrim runs decent). Computer idles about 15-20 watts on my KillAWatt meter. I’m very happy with this computer.

I had to return as my LG Monitor would not plug into this small computer and their was no adaptor I could buy to make it fit and I have no room for a 2nd monitor. I wanted a windows 11 computer. I’ll buy a bigger desk top computer maybe it will work with my monitor.

Acheté pour remplacer un Dell Inspiron 3650 devenu trop lent et encombrant. Très satisfait du format compact et de la performance, compte tenu de mes besoins modestes. 2 entrées vidéo (HDMI et Display Port) et 7 ports USB dont 3 de version 3.2. Ventilateur silencieux. Ajout d’un SSD pour les données très simple : câbles et vis inclus, connexions disponibles sur la carte-mère. Ai choisi cette marque parce que la cie a bonne réputation.

Fast, easy to set up, quiet, I’m in love. The unit is so small I could attach it to my monitor if I wanted to, but I don’t. I’ve replaced the wired keyboard and mouse with a wireless set and was able to use my old pinned monitor. I was intimidated by the extra cords that came in the box so I put in a work order to ask about them. I also tried the online chat. Within 5 minutes, customer service got back with me to let me know the cords were to attach additional drives, etc. Very happy so far.
UPDATE: 1/21/24 – Computer still working fine. Someone asked if there are PCI expansion slots available. I don’t know what that is but I’ve attached two new photos of the front and back of the unit. Maybe that will help.

Upon starting the computer up and setting it up it wasn’t long before I started getting msteam error messages. There is an easy fix if you know how to do it. Windowsreport.com had step by step instructions. MSI was down on the day I was having this problem. I highly recommend windowsreport.com.
Pros: Small form, plenty of USB ports, very quiet, upgradeable.
Cons: Small ssdrive, bloatware(two adblockers, and Norton security, MSI software which seems to be spyware, and had no information on how to contact them if you have a problem. Tried to register the product and was unable to on the day I set up the computer. The next day there were down, they require your date of birth to complete the registration.

The machine refuses to boot into windows after barely a year of using it, and it’s past the return period. Don’t buy this machine.
