I received this heat lamp before my snake was picked up from the breeder and plugged it in to set up my tank. The bulbs smoked immediately regardless of how low the setting was. I thought it could be something burning off of the outer layer of the bulb? (I tried to give it a chance). It stopped working after a week and each time it turned on it shorted out and the bulbs would smoke. DO NOT PURCHASE. This was a complete waste of my money.

You will not be sorry that you got this light for your pet… it’s a warning light with many different levels and IT IS DEF WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! Comes with 3 bulbs one (extra) YOU CAN SHUT OFF ONE LIGHT OR HAVE one up high and one dimmed or one dimmed and one off 100% it’s A WONDERFUL LAMP FOR THE MKNEY FOR SURE!!! The clamp IS TOUGH IT WILL NOT FAIL AND the flexibility of the lights are stiff too so they will stay where you put them extend or bend either way

This item was delivered October 1. Today it stopped working. I put a new bulb in but that didn’t work. I took a bulb from a lamp that does work – no luck. After 6 weeks I got a partial refund from Amazon. Not happy with this product.

My tortoises love the lamp. It has three different light setting where you can dim and brighten the light according to the temperature of the weather outside. Best pro is the light timer you don’t have to worry that you have left the light on for the longest. Best purchased made
