Although I was nervous about getting this item due to the negative reviews, I paid attention to the positive reviews and purchased it anyway. WOW. I’M SO HAPPY WITH THIS ITEM. 🤩 It was not difficult to assemble even though the instructions are not very clear. You can figure them out. 😉 Just be sure you place the front and back caps on as you go along, it makes assembly much easier. (I did all the back ones then went back and added the front ones.🤦♀️) The finished results are amazing and strong and resilient. I used this to replace the standard press board cubby I had that was heavy and didn’t provide the resiliency this one does. GREAT PRODUCT WORTHY EVER PENNY! EASY ASSEMBLY AS WELL. LESS THAN AN HOUR.

It’s a great short term storage solution – for a college apartment. It would easily last a good 3 or 4 years- easy assembly, ability to create different layouts. Purchase the 11×11 cubbies and you have an easy to assemble – move and very light storage that looks way better than the price you pay!!
The panels that make this up are a form medium thick plastic which is very taut and holds very well.

I purchased the 16 cubby version and want more for all my closets! These are working out perfectly.
Really helps utilize the space. I even added some up on the top shelf to gain storage area.
Assembly is not complicated and I like being able to change up the shape.

Very honest review:
I’ve purchased three 16-cube shelves. Each has taken me about 2-3 hours to put together. I’m OCD to the extreme with this, taking close care to ensure each piece is FULLY engaged, and going back multiple times to re-engage pieces that naturally loosen because of the way the kit must be assembled. It is fairly easy, but it is a process.
The kit comes with a few zip ties for OCD people like me. I used more.
When fully assembled, these shelves are much more sturdy than particle board shelves…. really. They can hold more weight. They won’t parallel in the same way.
But… The sides are like milk-jug plastic. You can’t sit anything heavy on the top, and that is very frustrating. You can’t put a candle or anything around it, or it will melt. You can’t ram anything sharp into it, or it will puncture. If the structure is empty, it is light, and easily toppled. When fully, you’d be surprised how unbelievably heavy it can be. Also, it can hold so much weight that you can’t slide it across carpet when full…it will literally rip apart from the snapped-together pieces. That sounds drastic, but it really holds a lot of weight. I recommend setting it on top of a board if movement is a concern.
I got rid of three chests of drawers and nearly trippled the amount of storage space I had in ft3, so any small inconvenience or gripe I mentioned is small in comparison to the vast gain in cheap sturdy storage.

used 12/16 cubby’s to revamp my kids toy corner – worked perfectly for what i envisioned and simple enough to put together. i tweaked assembly and didn’t use the feet in the bottom and used the zip ties when i ran out of circular connectors and it’s still fine and sturdy – you figure it out. glad i can repurpose this and the way it is as they age and outgrow and they’ll eventually make it into the closets!

Bought and assembled this for my wife’s crochet skeins of yarn. She had plastic tubs of skeins, and had difficulty in organizing the colors, texture, etc. Assembly was fairly straight forth. Because you are assembly panels to form cubes, you have multiple options on how you want the cubes to be arranged.
The material used in the wire frame of the panels is thick soft plastic. Soft meaning that there is some give. It is not rigid, but this allows the easy assembly of the panels. It is rigid enough to store light weight items, collectibles, framed pictures, DVD, paperback books, etc. I wouldn’t store hardbound books. My best guess is that maybe 5 pounds is the max for each cubicle.

Ok after reading all the reviews on this. I was skeptical but being a single dad on o budget. I went for it. Had very nice wood ones before but unfortunately were marked but cats..
looked at these for my daughters room. I checked all the pieces and counted all of them before assembly, I would check bc other reported issues. But honestly I’m impressed. They are taller and wider than I expected, very versatile to installed any shape you like.
I didn’t expect them to be very sturdy bc of thinness. But they hold up very well. The pictures show the thickness, halfway through build. I got two to organize her room better. Lots of toys…
The hammer they give you is useless.. but the rest of it is well engineered and parts made well for the price. I’d definitely buy again..!

Arrived quickly. Easy to put together, fairly sturdy. My only complaint, mine had a very strong plastic/chemical smell. Its been outside the last 2 days trying to air it out so I can tolerate it in my bedroom.
