I got this small ice machine for my husband for Father’s Day because he really likes “the good ice”. It makes enough ice for a 32 oz container in an hour or two. The thing has been running non- stop since Father’s Day and I save the extre ice in the freezer.
It does make some white noise while it’s producing the ice, but it doesn’t bother us.

Nice option at a more affordable price than the competition. Both my ice makers broke in my SS refrigerator so I needed something for easily accessible ice without having to do trays. This fits the bill. That being said, the ice is not the “flake” ice pellets but more of a tiny ice cube. Still highly crunchable without worrying about your teeth, as it’s soft enough. It makes the ice super quickly so there’s not really a lot of waiting for ice. That being said, the compartment does fill up very quickly so unless you are dumping into a bag for the freezer, you aren’t going to have tons of ice at once. It’s pretty loud and has gotten progressively louder over the two weeks since I have set it up, but not so much that it’s super annoying. The ice melts kind of fast in drinks, so if you are someone that wants a cube that last a bit longer, take that into consideration. Overall happy with the purchase, it sure beats laying out $600 for an ice machine.

It makes pellet-like ice but not truly ice like from sonic. The ice maker is a little noisy but for the price the ice is decent. I added a picture of the ice in a drink so you could see what it looks like.

Eeeek!!! I’m SO EXCITED about this ice machine!! I have searched far and wide and for MANY months to find the small “pebble” “sonic” ice and my search FINALLY ended today when I received this FANTASTIC machine!! I used to drive and buy sonic ice in the bag, but I’ve since relocated to an extremely rural area (back to my hometown) and the nearest sonic is like, 30 miles away lol…hence, my search for my OWN machine. I was heartbroken at first because every machine I’d find was SO SO expensive…until I found this gem of a machine. When I unboxed it at home and began to see that magic pebble ice start to fall like a glorious waterfall of the PERFECT ice, I was ABSOLUTELY THRILLED!! Buy it! It makes “THE” ice we all love from Sonic & CFA!!! I’ve been eating ice all afternoon!!

The nugget style ice the maker produces, but this product is horribly loud. I guess if you had a closet to keep it in it would be OK. Other makers we’ve had are much better and quieter. Oh and I almost forgot, you have to pay shipping to return, very odd for Amazon, but to me telling in what they expect, and want to deter people from doing once they plug this maker in.

The seller reached out and wanted to make it right, which they did. This may have been a one off, and while the noise was the issue, their return policy quickly supplanted that. However, they did make it right, and ultimately customer service is my number issue. The seller was super responsive and they reached out, so definitely a five star experience for me and I would have no issue purchasing any product from this seller.

make a little noise but, it’s not to loud and
as long as there is water in the machine you
will have Fresh Ice..

I’m throughly impressed with this ice maker so far. I’ve just had it a few days. Simple to set up and use. Makes a whole basket of nugget ice in about an hour. When the compressor is running, it is a noticeable sound. But it’s not super loud like other reviews state. It’s not as loud as the sound of a running microwave. Weird description, but you get the drift.
