Amy D Hodges –
All together we have 3. All three are good fitting vest.
Ashley –
Very comfortable, well made, and fits perfectly. I’m 5’7″ and 135lbs. The small is a snug fit when the straps are pulled tight, as it should be. Passes the touchdown test. Arrived fast and looks great.
Nancy –
I splurged on this life jacket after reading the reviews and also because I didn’t just want to look like a huge chunky pink block on the water. I have not tested the flotation yet but I trust the brand.
I ordered based on the size chart and my measurements and it actually runs ever so slightly large as I sized up slightly instead of down because I wanted to be sure it fit. Just order whatever is true to Your regular size and measurements. Zipper and clasps work well and can cinch you in a little bit if you order it too big but if it’s too oversized then the zipper area might start buckling if you tighten the straps too much. This is a beautiful life vest if you can afford it.
I’m 5’11” and weigh 210 lbs. I have a 42-in bust and a 36-in waist so I ordered according to the largest measurement around my torso.
Debbi –
Originally I ordered the same size that my old Casad Neo Vest was purchased nearly 20 years ago.
I am 5′ 3″, short waisted, have broad shoulders for my size/figure which is 39/25/35, bra size 32 DD.
Becasuse my old vest still fits I figured a small or extra small (same size as old vest) surely would fit in a new more modern vest.
So I ordered a small and extra small. When it came I was simply agast at how tiny they were.
Frustrated I started to read comments on almost all the brands of vests. After MUCH research all I read was more confusion on the fitting process than I.
…”size up”, “size down”, too small, to large, rides up, my 8 year old cant zip it up…. on an on.
Well something obviously has drastically has changed with PFD design and measuring… ..obviously!
WOULD I ever find a vest that ACTUALLY fit me?
Then something dawned on me. What others said really made no difference! Instructions from the manufacture was the key.
When I was a freshman at USC, I was in the purser’s office because I was bewildered as to where I was supposed to go. I had what seemed to be a complicated schedule I couldnt understand even though the instructions on how to read the schedule was right there on the schedule!
Almost in tears over my days frustration I looked up, and on the wall behind the clerk was a big ol’ sign that stated…
“When in DOUBT, read the instructions”.
I chuckled to myself, exceted that long line, sat down, read the instructions and off I went.
So with this PFD deal…. I re-read the instructions on how to order the correct size vest. I actually got my tape measure out, had a friend help with the measuring. Even though I only weigh 104lbs, my chest size is 39″. Looking at the chart I could hardly believe that I needed to order a Medium. After all my chest measurements are the same as 20 years ago when I bought the Casad Neo Vest and it is an extra SMALL still fitting fine, crushed but fine.
So I followed the chart, ordered the Medium and it fits like a charm.
This vest is attractive and shaped a bit more like the old style vests (anyone who skied 20 years ago before they changed the type of foam, the positioning and blocking of that new puffy foam knows what I mean.) The vests were smooth in front and back. Small was small and extra large was extra large.
In those days you did not look like a circus marshmellow as you do now due to the new fluffly foam positioned mostly in the front, barely nothing in the back.
This vest fits like a charm and the most rediculous part is that by following the chartsame for all 4 different brands, all but Body Glove (which was defiantly larger than the others I ordered even though it too was a size 38-40.
I found 3 out of 4 vests that fit reasonably simular by following THEIR charts regardless of the “size”s-m-l etc… that didn’t matter. The size 38-40 was the key.
It looks FANTASTIC! DOES NOT RIDE UP, is tight, very tight so it will work as it is suppose to when I am in the water. The point of a vest is not just to keep your nose and mouth above the water line but stay on top of the water, keep your chest well above the waterline. Fit correctly, and that means tight but not to the point of a potentially collapsed lung.
I can safely say that if you are realistic and actually follow the chart with your REAL measurements, not what you think are your measurements, you will not need to “size up” or “size down”. It will then just become a matter of what you want your vest to look like on you. I wanted, simple, princess lines without all that puff in the front, and that is exactly what this vest looks like. The straps can give even more customization.
Follow the instructions on how to measure, measure correctly, match up the chart with what ever “size” that ends up being….and order it.
I’M SURE YOU WILL FIND A VEST THAT FIRS ON THE FIRST TRY.
This holds true with probably all the vests here on Amazon.

At first I thought it was way too small but after I realized I could zip it up after all, I got comfortable with it being snug. It’s a life jacket after all. When I fell off my stand-up paddle board and the next thing I knew I was bobbing in the water, upright, I knew for sure it was the right fit. I am 5’2”, 126 lbs, and got a Small.
Karma Yoakem –
I love this vest! It fits snugly and allows me to move my arms and torso freely while boating. I grew up with life vests that were bulky and felt like I was being smothered. This vest is not only comfortable, but it also keeps me afloat quite well. I have even used it in the swimming pool to just float around and relax without having to worry about treading to stay afloat while upright. Great vest!
Juliana –
You should buy this vest it looks nice and it serves it purpose. I bought it to learn paddle boarding and it went great. While learning I felt off the water many times and it really help me float and get back tot he paddle board
John Kranenburg –
This is a beautiful vest. Workmanship is excellent. If you order this vest, order a larger size than the chart indicates as it fits VERY SMALL. I fit in the small chart…..and the medium just fits. Any smaller and it would not fit.
Product itself is great, but sizing chart needs updating.

Mel –
I still don’t know how to swim. Well, I have been practicing but still can’t float on my stomach. And I still have a fear of the water. I had to go to an indoor waterpark so I decided to just be safe and look for a life vest, even if I am a woman nearing my 40’s. I decided the embarrassment is better than the risk of drowning.
Anyway, getting to the product at hand; it is awesome! High quality and stylish. It really helped me float!! It gave me a chance to finally practice swimming in a wave pool. I was starting to develop a little more confidence in the water. I definitely need more time in the water but it was a good start.
I ordered a size L and I am 160 pounds and 5 feet 1 inch. It fit perfect and you can adjust the straps. Really awesome product, worth the price and I definitely recommend.
Nancy –
Muy buen producto, cómodo y de buena calidad en materiales, este es ligeramente elástico, no es económico pero como en todo, se obtiene lo que se paga

I’ve been wearing life vests my whole life but never really paid attention to them because they were always rentals or part of a rental. Whether it was too small or just right never bothered me because it was temporary.
So I ordered a size small, per their sizing, and (like other reviewers), it was snug. I could zip it just fine, but my chest (34B) was extremely smushed. I kept it, ordered a medium to compare, and the medium is the fit I was looking for. It’s still snug enough to feel safe, but it’s also not overly constricted. This review could change because I have yet to test it in water, but the medium is probably the choice for me.
