I got this to throw in my get home bag to boil water for freeze dried meals.
Boiled 2 cups of water in 2 minutes flat on a fresh canister of fuel.
Its well thought out, fuel fits in pot with stove and spork. Then wraps up nicely in the mesh bag.
Spork is about what you’d expect, serviceable, but I’m going to supplement with a Lexan fork and spook, they weigh nothing.
Its not the lightest package, but I’m not summiting Everest either. Prefect for my needs at a steal of a price.
One thing I did notice is the pot supports get cherry red hot. Not sure if this will be an issue or not. I certainly think it could if you tried to use a heavier or bigger pot/pan than the one provided.
Based on what I know now I’d buy it again.

So the system as is works really great but there of course are downsides when a product is this cheap. First, it was made cheaply of course, I knocked it over on accident once and the stove bent out of place and I had to manually twist metal back into the right position. It no longer closes properly but it does work. The other problem is that the spork food the wrong way, so when you put too much pressure, like scooping some heavier food, it closes. If it was designed to open the other way, it would only get tighter the more heavy the food you scooped. Other then that, it worked really well. Boils water super fast and it light and portable.

This is a very solid kit and would be great for the back packer. I use it for coffee and overlanding because it’s fast to boil water. Maybe not as quick as the jet boil system but for 1/4 of the price or less it’s great.

I originally liked this product because of the ignition option on the stove and a two size pot option. Still like these features. The spork is useless. Tried stirring anything with resistance and it collapses. Still a little on the heavy side but I’ll keep using the stove and might switch out the pots.

Overall it’s a very nice kit to cook some food or boil water with when you’re camping in the backcountry. Some people complained about the spork being too flimsy to use; you have to slide the metal bracket close to the pivot point otherwise it won’t work well indeed (see picture). Still, I swapped it for a plastic one so I don’t risk scratching the inside of the pots when travelling/hiking. While it’s not as fast as my jetboil, it’s portability and overall performance for a much lower cost makes it a very appealing buy for people getting into camping or that need to make food on the go when space/weight is a premium. You can store an 8 oz isobutane canister in it; store it upside down in the included cloth with the burner casing on top. When things are placed that way with the net tightened, nothing moves inside the pots (see pics). The burner that came with the kit is quite impressive even under medium gusts of wind. Not gonna lie, I was not expecting much at this price but I was wrong. One minor issue is that the coating on the pots is very thin and the metal spork caused a few minor scratches during shipping, nothing that affect it’s performance but something to keep in mind nevertheless. Side note, I use the included cloth to store the canister tightly and not for actual cleaning, the material is very fibery-ish/porous and I’m sure bits of food will stay stuck no matter how hard you wash it, simply bring a proper one and put it in the pots. Happy adventure!

Great for the price. It comes with everything you need and the functionality of higher priced brand name equipment.

Nice compact configuration. Good value.
Pros: Compact, 2 bowls to cook with, everything including propane packs up nicely.
Cons: Lid and base don’t connect to each other. Need to put it in the bag to keep it all together.
Long Term: TBD

I’ve boughten expensive name brand stoves and this one and it is a GREAT, lightweight, affordable and reliable option. Would highly recommend it.

In love with this product, the stove is so easy to use, which is important for a newbie like me. Water gets heated so fast. I also tried cooking a can of tuna with tomatoes in the smaller pot that also went very fast. Tried heating water in a regular pot, that also went pretty well and im glad the stove can support the weight. Can’t wait to go camping! The only thing you have to watch for is the handle on the pots might burn a little, so I’d always handle with caution

I really can’t believe how well this worked.
it’s a great and cheap little camp set up. I brought it hiking and it served me well.
for this price, I would absolutely buy a second one instead of a single $100.
Update Nov 2023—-
I’vew used this set in several hikes / overnights and it’s still holding strong. I also do motorcycle camping and so this set has weathered multiple trips up mount Washington and a lot of banging around through rough terrain.
If your the impatient type grab a jet boil from Facebook marketplace/ Craigslist . At this point they are relatively cheap.
It takes a bit to get a boil going but that’s expected in an open air cooking environment . Especially when it’s already 20/30 Fahrenheit .
With that said that does not change my review at all the silverware are junk (but most are) the bowls , stove and ability to pack easily are great.
We have 2 sets now and they are still in great condition after some serious testing. I highly recommend.

If you try to get this from an outdoor store you’ll easily pay double or triple.
Very compact design. The stove worked very well over a 10 day trip. One of my concerns was that the pots would get scratched very easily but they are quite durable. Easily made enough rice and pea stew for 2 people to eat. Definitely recommended.
