Definitely good for the price! Fan more powerful than I expected, which is good! Will use it properly in 4 weeks at a festival but I think this will definitely help with that heavy heat inside the tent on a sunny morning and throughout the day. Even tempted to put it to use at home as it seems powerful enough. It takes 2 D batteries. I got Duracell so we’ll see how quickly it runs through those. Will update review, if necessary, after testing it out properly.

I bought 3 of these. You can hang them from you tent, canopy etc. Or sit them down on the side. Very adjustable. You can use the fan and light together at the same time or just one or the other. On high fan I got about 8 hours before it slowed down with fresh energizer batteries. We are ordering more to put at each table while camping, since it’s so humid out where we are to keep ourselves cool. The light is fairly bright and illuminates the entire inside of my 10 person cabin-like tent. Worth the purchase in my opinion.

Comes with a remote so you can stash near opening of tent or keep in pocket and turn on to see w/fan going on to cool down the area. Works well ,holds charge ,runs for 12 hrs plus on low setting (alls we use just to get circulation ) Fast charging and different rotations 45/90 swivels.the light is decent bright enough to use in complete darkness . It’s super quiet and lightweight . Happy with my purchase.

It’s such a plus to have a fan with the light. On hot summer nights camping it works very well to ventilate the truck or tent. The light is bright enough to see what’s needed. The battery life went for a whole camping trip without changing batteries.

Just got back from a camping trip with my family and would rate this lamp/fan combo as average. The light works ok. Not super bright, but helps see when you come into the tent at night. Fan was more disappointing, unless you are directly under it, you wouldn’t know it was on. Still helps move some air around so that is good.

So I have been an avid camper for decades. When Coleman introduced the 4D powered LED lantern / ceiling fan I guess it was 15 – 20 years ago, I grabbed one. I was NEVER happy with anything about it. It went through batteries FAST, it didn’t produce much light at all, and it sure didn’t push enough air. Yes it was fan shaped, but it was a poor fan. And to top it off, it required this funky magnet to hang it from the ceiling of your tent. But modern tents come with hanger loops….
So I have been contemplating getting a new ceiling fan. And this one had great reviews. I ordered it. And got some Lithium D cells for it.
Everything except maybe the type of plastic they used is better about this fan / light than the Coleman.
As much as I was displeased with the old Coleman, I am thoroughly pleased with this. The swing out hook easily mounts to a mounting loop or gear loft. The base pivots to allow to use as a desk fan. It moves a good amount of air for a tent. Seriously if you have like a 10×14 tent like I do, get 2 of them, put one on each hanger loop on the sides and set them on low.
If you are like me, even when it is cold out, you have to have air moving when you sleep. These things are an absolute blessing.

It’s very small and you must have it close to Your face to Feel the fan . The light however works very well and it was worth the buy for the light
It would have been good to have had an option to recharge via USB, rather than just batteries that are taken in and out. Appears to do as it says but have not tested yet.
