Want to know a secret? This product shares a lot of similarities with my MANSCAPE Trimmer. Similar blade design(but wider!), similar function(but better!), almost like they come from the same factory. But you guessed it, that manscape is 4 times the price.
I love this thing, never cut me or my cat once, works great, cheaper. It’s like a win win win.
Nall –
I was sceptical based on some prior reviews but gave them a try anyways. They are great trimmers. My cat is not the meanest but takes close second. He’s got long Maine coon fur. He is getting up there in age and stopped taking care of himself and develops lots of thick mats in long fur. I got these to give him some relief because they seemed to make him more ornery. Cornered in bathroom and went at the sides. The trimmer has a quiet buzz. Nothing scary. He didn’t notice it. It glided easily through the fur. Too easy at times. I’m no barber there are bald spots. It didn’t cut him and he didn’t mind. The mats were a bit tougher but the did slowly come off. Trick seemed to be to chang directions sometimes front to back was easy others too to bottom. I did a lot in one sitting and he purred and rubbed up against me so he seemed to like it. Eventually though he was done. Took several sessions to complete but not because of trimmer, because of cat. It kept charge. Minimal recharge needed and charged quickly each time. Little cleaning and oil and good to go. Highly recommend.

Initially bought this because our long-haired cat had a few bad matted spots. Literally the day we received the clippers (still in the box) our cat had diarrhea all over her butt for the first time… Bathed her and the next day we trimmed her butt hair and removed the matted spots.
(side note: our vet recommended trimming any long-haired cats butts to prevent that)

I had an older cat with matted hair. He allowed me to use this clipper on him. I did it very carefully. These clippers cut through the matted hair with careful pressure. I did a little every day and got most of it. These did the job and worked as advertised. Use the oil that comes with them to lubricate.

The grooming kit worked very well for a cat who has always been exceptionally difficult to groom. They run quietly, are able to get through even very difficult matts, and are very easy to use.

This trimmer works amazing for your cat. It cuts through smoothly without hurting your cat, really quiet, super easy to use and clean. also very good battery. I used it on my both super furry cats and the battery was still full. Highly recommend this for your fur baby.

This trimmer works amazing for cats with very long fur and hardcore mats. It cuts through matted fur without any issue or hurting your animal. Easy to use, durable, quiet and gentle but works amazing. Highly recommend the tool. It’s portability, appearance, adjustability is great. Very safe too.

I have 2 long haired cats who are skittish with loud noises and shedding like crazy. These clippers were quiet enough that they would lay on their sides and let me cut their hair. I purposely gave them a kittyhawk.
Highly recommend for owners with skittish animals. Only problem is that I found it hard to get an even cut. I was doing it on my own and although the cats were mostly cooperative, hard to keep them from moving while keeping their skin taut and the clipper in your other hand. Another set of hands would probably resolve uneven cut.
Easy to use and box can be used for storing. Battery is great. Used a couple of times to trim their bums and then about 45 minutes x 2. There is still 75% battery left.

If you are struggling to help your matted elderly cat, don’t hesitate to get this. I was skeptical as to how this could possibly be different than regular clippers but holy cow it work and cuts through the mattes just like the ad, it didn’t even catch on them. My elderly long hair has so many mattes I can’t keep up and it was taking 2 hours to cut her hair. With this it took 20 minutes.
The cons:
– it gets hot fast. Start with the paws so it’s at its coolest. My cat didn’t seem to notice (except on the paw pad) but I did have to stop and blow on in it a few times.
– when you use a guard it is VERY loud and scared my cat. I used it with no guard and it was super quiet. I tried to put the 3 on and it was much louder than a regular clippers and actually scared my cat.
– I’m a terrible stylist. Lol. Every time I thought I got it even and smooth she’d wiggle and it would look uneven. Some of it is her elderly skin, some is my uneven pressure as I clip and i assume I’ll get better one day.
Overall, this is a God send. I felt like I was torturing my cat trying to cut her mattes out and it’s only getting worse as she gets older. This, even with the flaws, made it so fast and never once pulled on her thin skin. I would absolutely buy it again and look forward to caring for my girl better.

Pensé que no iba a cortar pues el pelo de mi Persa es muy largo y tupido junto a la piel. Sin embargo la maquina se desempeñó muy bien, unas 2 pasadas y la piel quedaba expuesta. La compré para rasurar su area genital pues al estar muy peluda solía ensuciarse con facilidad. Es muy fácil y sencilla de usar. Hace muy poco ruido, me habría gustado que fuera más silenciosa pero distrayendo al felino con algún juguete pasa desapercibida. La recomiendo. La usé en 2 tipos de pelo de gato, considero que podría servir para cualquier ejemplar.

I have only tested them so far, but they look good, very quiet, and I will be clipping my spicy cat – who hates being brushed! – in a few days. The clippers are well-made, lots of different sizes of guards, and oil is included. Very well packed in a nice box to keep things together.I will update as soon as I have done the clip on my kitty.
