The stand itself is great. I like the design. It is fairly quick to set up and take down—and the right balance of portable and sturdy for me. The carrying bag is junk. Barley fits the components. No shoulder strap. No pockets. Cheaply made. I took the bag from an older stand and put this stand in it. If you don’t have that luxury it might be a consideration for you.

This stand is simply amazing. It’s extremely durable, has a sleek design (the stand is flat and therefore usable as a writing surface, unlike the Manhasset models), and adjustable in every way imaginable. Its only flaw is its plastic clamps; metal would have been more durable, but I haven’t had any problems with it yet. Overall, this is the best value for your money.
(In case you were wondering, the stand can be lowered for a cellist or raised for a violinist or other player; its height range is flexible enough to satisfy any player’s needs.)
UPDATE: After a year, it’s still working very well. The angle adjustment isn’t quite perfect, but it still works. Just keep in mind that the stand will get shallow scratches pretty easily.

This has so much potential if only the bag were slightly bigger (and maybe if it had a music pocket). It is almost impossible to fit the section with the legs in the bag. So instead of being able to tear down quickly after a gig, I spend 5 minutes fighting with the bag. Most of the time I can’t zip it all the way shut. I emailed Peak for assistance and got no response. It is very sturdy, but I bought it for the portability of the bag.

This is a GREAT stand! It’s sturdy, very adjustable in many ways (height desk tilt, easy to swivel). The bottom shelf part of the desk is nice and wide to accommodate lots of music. It come with its own case too. The only down side is that the shaft part of the stand, when compressed, but not taken apart, doesn’t really fit in the bag. It kinda does, but it’s a stretch. All in all, I love the stand. Great service from the vendor too!

Just received it a week ago. It feels extremely sturdy and strong, and still somewhat… draggable in its own bag :-). The surface is wide enough for an open folder of two letter-sized pages, and even a little more, and the height is variable in a great range. So far I love it, and it gives me a nice, important feeling behind the drum set 😉 (and I also hang the stick holder on its leg).
If it breaks or does some other unwanted thing, i will update this feedback here, but so far I love it.
