Product is exactly as advertised, I spooled it with some 80lb braid and off I went. Landed a few 10lb fish with it the first time out on the pier. It didn’t struggle a bit. The hand crank was slightly bent upon receipt which is why I took away a star. I just bent it back with my hands, it wasn;t a major ordeal.

Straight to the point. Unlike other reviews the box and all the inner packaging came in good condition. The 6ft Rod feels sturdy. The reel arrived in factory new condition with all the parts tight. Great reel great rod. Nuff said.

No stars on this one. This product was basically crap. Spooled up everytime I casted. Plastic parts did not help at all. Sending it back! Go with a Penn Jigmaster if possible. Simple and better built.
